EV runs out of juice, pushed by coal miners
DC tourist ran out of battery in the middle of a remote West Virginia road on Friday, near a coal mine on Mettiki Coal access road U.S. 48, a few miles outside of Davis, according to WTRF.

Randy Smith on Friday Some days are just better than others. Today at our mine off Corridor H an electric car from DC ran out of battery at the road entrance to the mine. Someone called one of our foreman and told him a car was broke down in the middle of our haul road. He went to investigate and found out they had indeed ran out of juice coming from DC to Davis for a get away weekend. The Shard is beautiful, but I wouldn’t go up in it for just the fact that it “might” sway a little. The Gherkin looks much more stable, though rather obscene. If you get my drift. Whoever approved that design should be lined up against the wall.
I prefer Britain’s classic architecture, which is beautiful and abundant.

The Wordle has me stumped after word 2. I have some letters but no idea what to do with them. Maybe I’ll be able to figure it out later.

It’s 50° and won’t get past the mid-70’s. There are also hail, rain and wind to contend with in the forecast. So I won’t be going anywhere, and I’ll pray for my chilluns who are driving to Memphis today.
Today’s Wordle is another one that I just guessed at. The letters I had were not in place and made no sense, even trying to eliminate some consonants.
Does anyone know why we play this game?

Happy Thorsday. It’s quite warm here.
I was traveling in far western Texas and barely had any connectivity. I was able to do the Wordle on my phone when I got a strong enough cellular signal, but was not logged in to FR on my phone.
So I needed to get the result to my tablet, which I tried to do by email and text... good plan... except that I could barely get a strong enough WiFi signal anywhere to actually retrieve the result on my tablet so that I could post them here...

The grocks were just delivered, so after I put them away, I’ll sort the pills and wait for the weather to change. The gal who delivered them was on her phone the entire time.
James and his Hair are supposed to be cleaning the bathrooms, but there are otherbrothers involved. This may not end well. Maybe James said they would pay Frank.
