EV runs out of juice, pushed by coal miners
DC tourist ran out of battery in the middle of a remote West Virginia road on Friday, near a coal mine on Mettiki Coal access road U.S. 48, a few miles outside of Davis, according to WTRF.
From FaceBook:
Randy Smith on Friday Some days are just better than others. Today at our mine off Corridor H an electric car from DC ran out of battery at the road entrance to the mine. Someone called one of our foreman and told him a car was broke down in the middle of our haul road. He went to investigate and found out they had indeed ran out of juice coming from DC to Davis for a get away weekend. He then went back to the mine and got guys to push the car to the guard shack so they could plug in to charge. ... See more

Good morning. Happy Twosday!.
I hope everyone enjoyed their Columbus Day weekend. We woke up to 32 fs today so it was officially freezing.
The Princess had a seizure on Sunday. So we went 7 weeks, 3 days this time. I’m not sure whether we’ve seen all this prescription food will do for her yet. I guess we’ll keep her on it at least until the next one.
I’m seeing more of these than I like lately.

Oh, lookie! A Spooky! I 💖 dat floof!
Good morning. I hope you had a good night.
Except for the one interruption, mine was OK. At least I was somewhat warm.
I’ll be going over to a church friend’s house this morning to watch the new “Top Gun.” I hope they have a good sound system! LOL!
Happy Tuesday!
Our nights are bouncing between 48° and 54°, but the local folklore says we’re in for a rough winter. Of course. As long as the tornados go play somewhere else, I can deal with it.
I’m sorry about Princess Dog and her seizures. I hope the prescription food is helping and that between that and her aging, she gets to a point where she doesn’t have them.
Good job on your Wordle! Welcome back!
Happy Tiw’s Day to you! It’s cool here, 69 in the house. Sorry about the dog’s seizure!
Dyslexia struck this morning. Unngh.

I hate when I do that.
It looks like a success to me!
Thanks, but I transposed a couple of letters, so I got it in four instead of three. So meh. It sometimes goes that way with me. I’ll take it!
*tagline*
Me too! I hope you get one. ♥️
I’ll be curious to see your review of that. When I had friends visiting from out of town a couple of weeks ago, we wanted to see that. We chose a time at a really nice Cinemark nearby, but when we went online to pick seats, they were all gone except for the very front row. So it’s still going strong.
It’s just a couple of blocks, so it should be OK. If no symptoms show up today, the walk tomorrow will be a good test. I may finally be getting back to “normal.”
Hoping and praying no symptoms appear and that you really are getting back to normal. 🙏♥️
What a sweet black kitten.
Good morning!
I’m sorry to hear the Princess had another seizure. I hope she’s doing OK now?
I’m back on the four-train.

My son and his wife really liked it, but they’re die-hard Tom Cruise fans. I will, however, give you a review when I get home.
And now, I’m outta here!
Nothing butt clear liquids today. *sigh*
No pun intended? Or, since this IS Nully, "groan!"
Pun fully intended. I have to be completely empty for my anal inspection.
Our black cats have been sweet and “talkers” — chatting away all the time. Ours now senses your tone and can differentiate between a statement and a question. If you’re just talking, she doesn’t respond too strongly. If you ask a question, she “answers”, and just keeps on chatting. So cute.
That is so adorable! The black cats I had in the past were chatty and sweet-natured.
I now have a seal-point Siamese I adopted from a friend who got a promotion in her job in 2017 that had her traveling all but 5 to 7 days a month.
He is quite chatty and so very affectionate. Such a sweet little friend!
I went to Walmart. Wow, things are expensive now. I may have to switch from canned beans to dried and/or start going to the TodoWOW! where the Mexicans shop.
Back from the movie get-together.
Two thumbs up for “Top Gun: Maverick!” Excellent movie! I liked it most especially because there was a “naval aviator” who resembled my son’s dad when I met him so much that I was in love all over again. Same smile, same eye shape, same arrogance....
The movie did not disappoint! It’s much better than I thought it would be, and even though I’m not a big Tom Cruise fan, he didn’t disappoint in this movie.
