EV runs out of juice, pushed by coal miners
DC tourist ran out of battery in the middle of a remote West Virginia road on Friday, near a coal mine on Mettiki Coal access road U.S. 48, a few miles outside of Davis, according to WTRF.

Randy Smith on Friday Some days are just better than others. Today at our mine off Corridor H an electric car from DC ran out of battery at the road entrance to the mine. Someone called one of our foreman and told him a car was broke down in the middle of our haul road. He went to investigate and found out they had indeed ran out of juice coming from DC to Davis for a get away weekend. Speaking of which, I have been reading them lately and got into a discussion today as to what is the classic dystopian novel for each political belief system.
So 1984 for socialism, Brave New World for libertarians, Fallen Angels for the greenies (not sure this is a classic), Children of Men for the humans must die group and so forth.
Working on the premise that everything has a dark side we looked for a dystopian novel that has as it's basis the dark side of taking personal responsibility.
We could not think of one but there must be one out there.
So I turn it over to the thread. What do you think?
And now I am going to lock the door and go home.

I was up SOOO late last night! Stressing over stupid stuff. But I dreamed I was dancing (again) which is a good omen, so I won’t worry about the goings on today.
I seem to have more fours than anything but it may be that the Fivers are catching up to them. That’s OK. As long as it isn’t a very long run of X/6, I can handle it!

Don’t worry about today! Not a bad night. The pain is occasional, and Jake was in his own bed.
We have the church festival today. I just finished corrections to the pages for the Spanish choir performance, and next, I need to make a poster for the Stewardship Committee display.
I don’t know what I’ll do but at some point I’ll walk out to the mailbox.
Now, though, I need to get dressed and see if I can do something productive. Haha. I have so many things that need to be worked on, just sitting here.
There is a Women’s Conference at 1000 but I don’t know if I’ll watch it. It’s four hours with no breaks that I can see.

I’ll be going to Walmart this morning for the first time since mid-May. The relapse was long and ugly, but I’m going to see if I can handle an easy walk around Walmart. It’s HUGH, so I’ll walk the perimeter in not too big of a hurry!
I used to go at 0600 and do a power walk through because there were so few people at that hour. Actually, I wish they’d go back to 24/7, and I’d go at 0430, when there is no one but the stalkers! ;o]
Good luck on the trip and the walk.... hopefully it will be invigorating!
I don’t want it to be invigorating! LOL! It’s actually meant to be a test on my stamina. I have to take it easy and build up to the invigorating, as it’s been so long since I did that.
CFIDS is insidious, if nothing else, so I have to be careful in my activities, especially after a relapse.
