**I drive a 2001 VW Golf. 55K miles.**

Deceptive, from a used car buyer standpoint. 21 winter seasons of warmups probably would equate to at least another 20k on the engine. And 21 winters of WI road salt..... :(

(lol). I know what NW IL road salt did to my cars and pickups from ‘70 to 2016. (Been in TN since ‘16)

If he was a “Redskin” would this be a “hate crime”? Fair question ...

The player’s name nickname is B’Rob, he is a good kid from Tuscaloosa, close to the University of Alabama. Hope he gets well soon. RTR

In DC, NE is not as bad as SE, believe it or not. Really doesn’t matter where you are in that town, you’re still surrounded by criminals - some are just in the Capitol or the White House.

I only drive her in the Summer months. She can’t get up the hill to our house if it’s the least bit icy.

I have a truck for Winter driving.

But, yes, cars take a beating in Wisconsin. This one has had a relatively plush life. She was always in a garage and my Step-Mom only took her out to Church and then the Beer Depot (Liquor Store) once a week.

C’mon, Man! It’s Wisconsin! Beep! Beep! :)

I assume he was a victim by inference.

Everything I have read here doesn't clearly say which side of a carjacking he was on, perpetrator or victim. And they call this "news reporting"?

Summer of 74 I bought a 71 Mustang. By the time I traded it in (summer 76) it had stage 4 salt ‘cancer’. But it was driven year round.

The Washington Carjackers would have been a better name than the Washington Commanders, but maybe too many people would get them confused with Congress.

Black lives matter, except to anyone when it’s black on black crime.

I read that, but you would think the headline or lead in sentence would tell a reader outright that he was a victim.

Finding out in a few paragraphs buried a into the story, is too much work for headline readers. That, and previous stories about more than a few NFL bad actors committing serious crimes, could leave a reader wondering.

Shocking?
Normal?

why in the world would you drive an $80k vehicle in a crap hole like that?

Just asking for trouble IMO.

Why would a woman walk unescorted from the restaurant to her car while wearing an appealing outfit?

Just asking for trouble?

Agree. A protest against the forced re-naming of the team — just don’t pick a new name. You can make me drop the name “Redskin,” but I don’t have to pick a new name. The fans will continue to think in terms of the old name. And with the popularity of throwback sports paraphernalia and jerseys...
