A video of a McDonald’s manager revealing no other employees showed up at 4 a.m. for the breakfast shift went viral on TikTok.
Brandon (@ragestreamer93) is reportedly a manager at McDonald’s. He posted a video of how no employees showed up at 4 a.m. The video features the TikToker giving a tour of the empty store as he reveals that it was 6:15 a.m. and nobody showed up.
Brandon reportedly arrived at 3:30 a.m. to prepare for the day. At his store, employees are supposed to arrive at 4 a.m. so they can open at 5.
“I’m not sure if you noticed but right now it’s 6:15 in the morning,” Brandon begins, “the McDonald’s I work at, employees are supposed to get here at 4 to open at 5. Well, I don’t know if you just noticed, no employees.”
Originally, two employees and a maintenance man were supposed to clock in, and each hour, a couple of employees were due to show up. With each passing hour, no employees come in, all of them no call, no show. By 6:15, Brandon is livid as only he and the maintenance man were there to serve breakfast, fuming that he had to do everything by himself, threatening to write them up.
Brandon posted in the comments, “No one walked out/quit, they were bluntly 3hrs late! The GM came in around 6:15 to help me for a few hours.”
The video has been viewed over a million times since it was posted July 15. In the comments, TikTokers found themselves divided, with some criticizing Brandon.

I figure this is all crashing down. Food shortages, energy shortages, etc. will place these little munchkins in dire straights with zero coping skills. The elites wants us dead, and no coping skills will be some of the first to off themselves.
Yes.
At least they did the last time I was there. Which was about 4 years ago.
None in this area.
Let’s go, Brandon . . . and nobody else did.
I wonder where all the workers are. We went to Elkin’s Resort on Priest Lake, Idaho yesterday and looked forward to a nice lunch by the lake. Nope, no workers and no cooks. Lunch was going to START at 1:30 pm! We gave up and went down the road to Hill’s Resort which had an abundance of young folk working, all as nice as can be.
Horrible reporter. Is it Kamala? How many times do I have to know it’s 6:15 am.
The McDonalds near my office is at the edge of the ghetto and a upscale neighborhood. The McDonalds until recently was filled with young yutes sitting on the tables talking to their girlfriends, friends, drug customers🤓 what have you. A few months ago, the management changed and the McDonalds is clean and no loitering by the yutes. Also, most of the people are older people. Never had an order screw up since!
Had a similar experience last year at The Springs Resort in Pagosa Springs CO where the outdoor dining emporium near all the hot spring spas closed from 1:30 to 4:30pm. We had just had a massage and were looking forward to drinks/lunch around the spa area but chose to leave instead. I have no intention of ever going back and would not encourage anybody else to spend their time/money there, either.
Agreed.
Pay more, they will come.
Better yet, buy some robots.
I went to my local Arby’s today at 11:30 AM.
It was closed.
Entry level fast food jobs are $18.00 per hour in my town. Arby’s did not participate in this wage.
Target pays a beginning wage of $19.00 as well as Walmart ($22.00 for night stoking/shifts). Fast food is $18.00.
I’ve been lucky enough to have over 75 jobs in my career. I can recall applying for scores of jobs before earning one.
Earning one...
I can see making some major bucks during peak hours. We had a party of 7 last month at a nice restaurant and the bill came to 5 bills and change. The tip was over a $100.
When my son came home from college his first summer he said he needed to find a job. I have a friend who is a remodeling contractor. “Jason needs a grunt. Call him.” An hour later he was on the way to the jobsite. He worked for Jason for two summers. Jason was mad when he got a job in his engineering field for his third summer.
I doubt they give a damn about being written up.
Why is the Manager posting public videos of how lousy his restaurant is functioning? Shouldn’t he be talking to the franchise owner or the regional manager about this?
Maybe the owner or regional manager could have sent somebody over to help him for a few hours.
IOW, he choses to air all his dirty linen in public.
Not very professional or productive.
We have it. For both the trash and recycle bins. Kinda cool to watch.
My son started work as a senior in High School.
First job, produce department Wal-Mart. For ever job he has had, he arrives early, stays late if needed, works overtime to stock shelves.
The new store he works at should have at least 6 employees; they have only 4.
Oh, I should add he never calls in sick unless he is really sick. He missed three days of work because of a flu virsus (not COVID); I stopped in the store and four employees and two managers came over worried about how sick he was.
Chick-Fil-A’s chicken biscuits are the absolute best! Love’s!
Same here for me-except it was 4 months on a gasoline tanker chartered to the Navy. It was a merchant ship. Two weeks later my parents asked me when I was going back to work.
It must be rough where you live. It's been one man trucks with the robot arm for about 15 years. They have worn out three sets of arms.
