Myself and four of my friends recently returned from Las Vegas after a golf/guys trip. We left from Austin on Thursday the 16th and returned on Sunday the 19th.
One of the guys, the one I shared a room with was not feeling great on Sunday when we were heading back to Austin. I attributed it to a hangover, but on Monday, he sent out a text to the group that he had Covid.
After getting that news, we all took tests and only one other guy tested positive. On Thursday another started feeling bad and he retested positive. The other two, including me, still feel fine and have retested today negative.
The interesting thing is that ALL three of those who got sick and tested positive are fully vaccinated and boosted. The two of us who have not gotten sick and tested negative are unvaccinated. We are all in our mid-forties to mid-fifties. During the trip we pretty much hung out as a group together the whole time.

I had, and continue to have, faith in my natural immunity. The other unvaccinated guy claims to have never had Covid, but his wife did, so I think it's possible he had an asymptomatic case and therefore has immunity. The part I find most bothersome is the guy who first tested positive. He's had a symptomatic case before and just had another. To me, this lends some credence to my biggest fear of getting vaccinated, that the vaccinations damage existing natural immunity. |

It would be interesting to see if anybody in your group was following the vitamin and supplement protocols recommended by so many doctors and groups.

Almost all the vaccinated people I know have gotten it. I’m unvaccinated and have never had it or even been sick these past few years.
I came down with it Thursday, it’s kicking my butt. Yes I vacced and had one booster, lot of good that did me.
Yes, take the recommended supplements every day.
I've never been tested, but I imagine I've gotten COVID several times and my body just told it to go away.

We had the same experience this past Christmas. Large family of10 in a small house together four 4 days. Everyone was vaccinated except me and my wife, 69, and 74 y/o. Everyone in the family came down with Covid except my wife and I! We had been taking vitamin D, zinc, and vitamin C daily. Nothing else. And we have both had a mild case of Covid 2 years ago with high antibody count afterwards.

Weird. We had a trip there about a month ago for a few days. Stayed at Wynn’s Encore and went to a dive bar way off strip with a few ‘questionable’ patrons. Also wandered around the casinos too. Us sick? Nope. But, we drove so perhaps if you flew commercial the airlines could be the spreader? Hope you get over it with no after effects.
