That’s good.
“I never leave the keys to my Rolls on the counter.”
Me neither. I just hand them to the butler.
A lot of things about this story do not fit, but them amybe its because of omission of fact.
Maybe he has a second car that drives itself.
Or maybe he did not involve the Police because he has no need of an insurance claim.
But he did make sure his family was “Allright” before abandonming them without calling the cops? Maybe he did not call the police because he was illegally packing heavy.
Who knows?
But that gang is still on the prowl.Bait them and round them up.
“whip
abode
bandits
Is this these natives speak?”
“The owner of the abode, identified only as John, 38, was awoken by an alarm...”
I was surprised to find that “awoken” is a real word since I have only heard “awakened” used.
What?
Journalism today. So childish a child could do it. Literally.
I wonder if John just disabled it immediately after logging on or if he was selective on where the car was located before he did that. For example, he could have done it when they were in the middle of one of the bridges that the thieves would have to take... Goethals, Bayonne, Newark Bay, Hackensack River.

Most likely he had his cousins Vinnie and Pauly help him get his car back. Those two Wise Guys are always up for some hijinx.
One of the commenters at the Post article opined that the vehicle owner was himself a Percipient Fellow or otherwise Connected.
Yes, that is a very likely surmise.
He just went to “Joisey” to have some authentic Sicilian food and just picked up his car on the way.
Obviously had no need for the cops. He has his own.
Your theory hits all of the unexplainable aspects of this news story.
Staten Island ping!
Bra! lol Lucky hubby!
Oh. Does UBER tow?
Yeah, when I read Staten Island, New Jersey and cops not called on a half million dollar auto theft.... my mind went straight to individuals connected to organized crime.
If the stereotype fits, own it.
No. You leave the other car home, UBER out, drive back. You have your Triple A guy or your dealer's warranty guy meet you to be sure of a restart.
Good to see Trunk Monkey again.
He should have asked the police if they had a car nearby so that he could shut it down when the cops found it and then they could also arrest the perps.
Not if he told them he suspected they were at the 1/6 rally.
He killed it in Newark?? I’m surprised it didn’t get chopped up there.
