The coronvarius is causing other viruses to act in abnormal ways, according to a report. The Washington Post reported that Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital treated children suffering from seven respiratory viruses — had adenovirus and rhinovirus, respiratory syncytial virus and human metapneumovirus, influenza and parainfluenza and COVID-19 — last month. Specialists say the surge of those respiratory viruses, which is usually more common in the winter, is being caused by the presence of coronavirus.
“That’s not typical for any time of year and certainly not typical in May and June,” Thomas Murray, an infection-control expert and associate professor of pediatrics at Yale, told The Washington Post. Murray told the outlet that some children in the hospital last month had more than one virus at a time. The Washington post reported that other viruses acting is such a way is not common. Respiratory syncytial virus, or RSV, usually only hits people in the winter months, and rhinovirus, the cause of the common cold, hardly ever causes hospitalization.
The flu, which made a comeback in December before disappearing in January when the coronavirus omicron variant made an impact, is back. However, The Washington Post reported that researchers say it is appearing without Yamagata, a common lineage that hasn’t been present since early 2020. The arrival of the viruses is having an impact in hospitals and labs, The Washington Post reported.
According to the outlet, doctors are adjusting their procedures, like keeping preventative shots on hand in the spring and summer. It’s giving researchers a rare chance to delve into what factors are causing the unusual behavior of other viruses. They are trying to figure out if stay-at-home orders, masking or social distancing have played a role in the viruses’ unusual behavior, according to The Washington Post. “It’s a massive natural experiment,”.

Covid is causing this or is this a side-effect of the mRna vaccines?
Utter BS.
If that's supposed to be based in 'science', it's political 'science'...
More likely caused by illegal invaders.
Abby Normal?
I’ll pick door # 2 ...
Or it’s because so many of them were forced behind masks that they failed to keep up their immune systems as minor viruses mutated.
You’re onto it. Covid my A$$. So-called VAXX.
Both a bad case of covid or the injections. Both have HIV.
That was my first thought, that it’s not the coof.
It’s the vaxxes.
We have been forcing the entrapment of virus’s and pathogens against our children’s face with forced masking. That couldn’t be it right? /s
There, fixed it.
It's a shame she hasn't done more since The IT Crowd, great comedic actress.
Hold all calls, I think we have a winner.
What response to a coronavirus became the new normal when it came to children? An approach that was never in play except for children at high risk should they contact a virus. I can think of two. Universal masking and social isolation.
Perhaps these meant their immune systems were not able to build up a robust defense against common usually mild viruses.
Vaccines and masks——next!
It’s very iffy and that’s being nice.
“Covid is causing this or is this a side-effect of the mRna vaccines?”
The vaccine was horribly undertested in general, and completely untested as to long-term effects. We have been seeing those effects for a while now, and it will only get worse.
The only good thing about this is that trust in the government, and the captured medical establishment, is just about gone. They outed themselves as being completely self-interested and contemptuous of our liberties, our wallets and our very lives.
