Yep! Like they're trying to prove they are "Black enough" by being 10x as racist.
LOL.
Die apikoros scum.
No, Google doesn’t explain it. Google feeds people like you a history line with an 1865 date.
The year is 2022.
The question is how did an 1865 event emerge into the 23rd Century?
If you don’t know or don’t know enough, say “I don’t know” or “I’m not sure.”
I celebrate June 19th for a FAR BETTER REASON - Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were Executed on June 19, 1953 because they were convicted of Espionage. They provided top-secret information about radar, sonar, jet propulsion engines and valuable nuclear weapon designs to the SOVIETS.
Juneteenth, as it’s known today is just a cheap excuse for a day off.
I would offer the guess that most would never dream of going to ‘their’ cookout.
since this made up day was never mentioned in all of my years in New England schools, i pay no attention to it.
“made up” as in no federal holiday.
Liberals have shown us that history can be rewritten to include facts you like or ignore facts you don’t like, so why don’t we just eliminate any references to slavery in history books and pretend it never happened? /s
Noooo problem. I never go where I am not INVITED anyway.
Hey, if people want to celebrate the end of slavery, that’s great, bring back Lincoln’s Birthday, or celebrate the date of the Emancipation Proclamation, not some obscure local TX holiday.
No matter what, I will continue to celebrate Juneteenth as described above!
It only became a holiday after somebody noticed a Trump Rally was scheduled on it.
Another racist and bigoted affirmative action “perfeser” with an empty skull where she stores all of her Kwanzaa gifts during the year.
And watermelon.
I had something else in mind to tell him.
As an undergrad at UCSD, I noticed that my instructors had a range of academic degrees. Bachelor, Master, PhD. As a neutral term of reference, we just labeled them "Professor". The title "Professor" carries a different connotation as an employee of a college or university. It's more a sign of seniority in the academic pecking order.
In the case of this individual, the title clearly overstates the academic qualifications. Her employer needs to rein in a foolish employee.
Around my office, there are lots of people with PhDs. The only time we apply the label "Doctor" is when they are introduced in a meeting where their academic accomplishments lend credibility to the material they are presenting to those present. It is beyond annoying to hear "Dr. Jill Biden" from the press.
They stole Juneteenth from Americans.
I’m not invited ? This ranks with joy begat withholding sex.
Her...................
It’ll be the biggest sacrifice ever, but okay. I won’t even ask.
