That’s EXCELLENT running weather and not near heat stroke temps.
Additionally, there are free water stations and Gatorade every mile or so. This isn’t dehydration either.
For the most part, only VERY healthy people run such a race.
and...AND...one has to qualify to be able to participate. In other words these are the top runners in the nation.
You have to be fast and have to prove it with times from other races.
These are elite runners, not rookies.
They have strong athletic bodies with high VO2

Kash: The most direct spot I know is: truthsocial@Kash. Most current sort of dope. But he’s been really active on TV/radio shows recently so I see his explanations faster that way. Here at the shop there is a TV in every room, on all the time so we notice when he pops up. Radios on also and he shows up on Bongino, Larson, etc. There’s so many balls in the air, now, only a real web geek can follow it on the web. If the news stuff gets boring the TV volume goes down and the radios go country. Helps keep my guys from stoning out by getting distracted. Once in a while I catch one looking like an old hound dog after his operation——just staring at the blue light.

That is true. My asthma was worse when I was young. It rarely bothers me now until allergy season hits.
I ran track in high school and I was FAST! I loved running but my asthma didn’t. I eventually had to quit the team.
I sang and recorded gospel music in the 70’s. I had to quit that too because there were too many times I just didn’t have the lung power to sing.
Now it only bothers me during allergy season so until I messed up my ankle, I was able to ride a mountain bike 30 miles on wooded/gravel trails and never miss a beat, even in the TN heat and humidity. I occasionally rode the road bike through the hills but I don’t really like road riding. I prefer the woods. The ankle is finally getting better after 3 years so I hope to get back on the MTB but I’m giving my road bike to my sister.
Asthma is a real downer for active people. I doubt any would be running in a marathon unless they were really stupd because bad asthma can kill you.
Truth turns out to be pretty easy to use. Some nice features too. Just jump in and start mousing over the icons around the edges.

It was only a HALF marathon. Nobody was carrying a rifle which I’ve always thot should be a requirement if you’re going to call it a MARATHON. Those people are either in the world’s worst shape or the clotshots got them? OK, show of hands: how many clotshotted joggers are going to keep running?

I noticed today that there seem to be more USFS Enforcement personnel around than usual. No idea why.
Around here the USFS people are liked more than the BLM guys; at lest FS deal with forest fires along with ODF (OR Dep Of Forestry). BLM seem to mainly grant contracts to logging companies and sit in their office. And not answer their phones.

These Davos psychopaths are stoking the fires of hate in my heart the likes of which I've never experienced. I've felt rage maybe twice in my 55 years. Those emotional responses were instant reactions. What I'm feeling for these psychopaths is a slow burn. I don't like feeling like this. I'm not an emotional person. Lord forgive me for the hate I'm feeling for these people.
