After discontinuing aspirin, it takes 5 days for platelets to turn over and new platelets to take their place, thus 5 days for platelet function (clotting) to return to ‘normal’.
When I was having so many stress related heart arrythmias, my doctor put me on the baby aspirin regimen. She said that since it wasn’t AFIB, if I started bruising, to stop. I took it for quite a while before I saw bruises. She also had me on fish oil and I figured out that it can cause blood thinning too. I was able to take one at a time but not both. She said it was OK to stop the aspirin if I wasn’t having arrythmias. I was able to stop it for a few years when I retired because my stress level went away. I have had to take it for the last two or three years because my stress came back but I stopped the fish oil while taking aspirin. I haven’t had anymore bruising with just the baby aspirin.
Suddenly aspirin is bad. Something that is in nature and comes from willow tree bark used for centuries… but things like warfarin (pharma co) are much safer… right.

Aspirin has antiplatelet properties much more profound than those of other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) such as ibuprofen and naproxen, and these agents were originally marketed as not having the bleeding effects produced by aspirin. The anti-platelet effect of aspirin can be produced by a low dose (baby aspirin) that does not produce anti-inflammatory effects. The effect on platelets is irreversible and requires platelet turnover (make new platelets), which is about 5 days.
That’s how I feel. There were articles coming out about the dangers of aspirin when Delta and clots were so bad. It’s more propaganda from the so-called woke scientists and doctors as far as I’m concerned. I didn’t ask her, but I think those warnings are what my daughter was referring to instead of the aspirin that heart patients take. She was a little loopy for a couple of days. She prefers pharma where I prefer more natural.
I’ll trust aspirin any day over some of the blood thinners out there now. As far as I’m concerned, it’s a lot safer than any of those. There will be people that can’t take it but they probably wouldn’t be any better off with the pharma blood thinners. Have you ever seen the cautions on some of those? Scary.
Year ago my family doctor recommended taking an aspirin a day once I was over 30 because of prevalent heart disease in the family. He had also done Christian Mission work. Good guy. I’d trust him over these jab pushers. Obviously you have to be careful with taking other things that can thin blood. Find something good and stick with it and read labels of other meds (contraindications, etc.)
Warfarin is from nature. It is the product of moldy sweet clover. Scientists from Wisconsin take great pride in this discovery.

In fact, not very long before the whole covid craze, I had gone to ER for chest pain (turned out to be a pulled muscle/sternum strain) and before they even did an EKG they gave me 4 baby aspirin. Yep.

Have you seen reports where the effects of aspirin have been compared to Warfarin, Eliquis, etc.? I am on Eliquis and would love to know if I’m being scammed simply to benefit Big Pharma.
It’s over $300/month and it pisses me off. After the scamdemic I do not trust anything that pharma says or does.

Truth be told - the electric vehicle does more damage to the environment than the gas engined vehicle does. Batteries are poison in landfills - electric energy supply demand goes up (a lot) — takes more energy to make one, run one, and eliminate one - the emissions are minuscule in comparison to what it takes to make them and upkeep them. The car may not emit but the electric needed to power it did emit a lot more than gas production and the combustion engines gives off. As usual #LiberalFarce
