I didn't post the actual comic, in case it's a trademark issue. (I don't think it is, but just to be safe).
Heard from my mother today that still gets the KC Star that they didn't have Dilbert in the paper today and that it would "return soon." A quick look online shows that the left is having a bit of a fit, because the storyline is a black engineer that is identifying as white, throwing a wrench into the company's diversity stats. It started yesterday, but she just saw it today.
Just a little FYI that the censorship is a little bit of everywhere, not that anyone here is surprised.
Needless to say, no application is going there.
That's a good public service given that so many FReepers are understandably intrigued by me and want to know more.
He drew the character as brown, not black, and the brown didn't print.
You doubting the FReepers who actually saw the paper?
They want to know that they're able to dismiss your establishment agitprop without another thought.
If they're listening to you that whole 'thought' thing probably isn't a priority.
The dim bulb section of FR is throwing stones...
Agree, GOPJ. Some good names of people who are turning the ship around.
🤣
Sir/Madam, whatever you are:
I was told two different times that I “need not apply” for certain jobs/promotions. Once because my boss told me he “had to choose a woman”, and once because another boss told me “we have to encourage the young guys” to stick with the company, and he was going to give it to someone with only 1/4 of my experience.
Among my many accomplishments, I have earned the highest award given in a Fortune 100 company. If you call that mediocre, then you, sir/madam, are the idiot.
Thank you for that contribution - and sorry that the furtherance of The Narrative denied you your well-earned rewards.
The guy changed his racial categorization anyway, but he didn't like it.

Bad language and about 35 minutes in.
#23 My brother in law worked at NSP electric utility and he said you had to know someone to get a job there.
He is very funny - and he’s been there and knows what they do. Apparently people send him ideas or stories.
He takes being a techie and makes it good!
I bet something similar has happen to almost anyone who's spent time in corporate America. It's just part of the deal.
When it happened did you say, "well, that's it. I can never succeed in this industry (banking for Adams) because of my sex or my age so I'm giving up"? Or did you look around and figure out how to be successful where you were?
I don't particularly have a problem with Adams but him playing the victim in a business where white men are well represented seems weak.

Congratulations. Sounds like you stuck with it.
Never could
Never can
