Although many Marvel fans were ecstatic when the trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder finally arrived, others were less than thrilled. In fact, it seems that quite a few Twitter users have been calling out actor Chris Pratt for being homophobic after the trailer launched. It seems that one joke in the trailer has been the reason for the name-calling.
As those who’ve seen the footage know, there’s a moment where Chris Pratt’s character Star-Lord is speaking with Chris Hemsworth’s Thor. He gives the following word of advice:
“You ever feel lost? Just look into the eyes of the people that you love.”
While Thor takes this advice and looks directly into Star-Lord’s eyes, Star-Lord has the opposite reaction.
“Not me,” Star-Lord says.
Thor replies with the following:
“What? Just listening.”
Now Twitters users are blaming Chris Pratt for the line, insisting that the actor is homophobic as a result of his delivery. One tweet in particular has gotten well-over 100,000 likes as of this writing. In fact, many of these tweets have gained tens of thousands of likes, suggesting that many of these Twitter users feel the same way. As you can see below:
Hey, I’m still upset that Al Pacino never went to prison for all the crimes he committed as head of the Corleone family ...
Funny!
Thor Love And Thunder - Redemption or Destruction?
“The Critical Drinker”
“Now that I’ve had a chance to get my thoughts in order, here’s my assessment of the Thor Love And Thunder trailer. Will this movie redeem Thor after Endgame turned him into a clown, or destroy him to make way for Lady Thor? Find out here.”

Homophobic means fear of the same. Just saying.
Actors say their lines. Blame the writers if you don’t like it. Oh and since when is every heterosexual phobic? Preferences aside, does that not mean that homosexuals are also phobic, based upon their preferences?
He doesn’t write the script and the director/ writer is a huge leftist.
He’s a conservative, hunter, so the left is out to destroy him.
Chris Pratt goes to church, so is a target of evil Democrat scum.
What? Ironman, War Machine, Spiderman, Black Panther and kind of Black Widow were fine with signing over control of their freedom to the UN. The UN are the bad guys.
Homosexuality was in the DSM for years. The reality didn’t change, just the book did.
I’m the same way. Dont even hug another man. I’m not phobic on fags, they just make me sick. Just sayin..
Fear of something is a phobia.
Normals are repulsed by homo sex. No different from refusing to eat a pile of dog sh*t.
This is what happens when you don’t stop the cancer at stage 1.
Love does not equal sex. I love my daughters but I’d deserve a slow and painful death if I had sex with them!
It is homoSEXuality that’s a problem!
Years ago a bear hunter and his son came into our (sons and me) remote camp in the NC mountains waiting for his dogs to return from a run in the forest.
We talked dogs and other stuff as his dogs trickled into camp and we hit it off pretty good. Out of the blue he said, “I don’t know you but I love you and God loves you too”. Simple words that struck me hard has to how strong a man’s faith was that he would say this to strangers.
It’s been 5 or 6 years and there has not been a week that has gone by where I haven’t thought about that moment and whenever the kids and I reunite it always comes up.
Are you talking about Rudy on Survivor?
A phobia is an extreme, irrational fear. Keep it up, media.
True. I’m homodisgusted. But I can’t help it. I was born this way.
Also, if they want society to NOT be “homophobic”, maybe they shouldn’t threaten people’s careers, families, and lives with violence and destruction whenever the homosexuals get offended.
GAWD,
Whadda bunch o’ fags!
😀
