Climate change is pushing mammals into new territory, increasing the number of opportunities for viruses to jump from species to species — including humans. By 2070, if global temperatures continue to rise as predicted, there could be a total of 15,000 new cross-species “viral sharing events,” according to new research published today in the journal Nature.
Of the at least 10,000 virus species in mammals capable of infecting humans, most are still only circulating among animals in the wild. The worry is that more of those viruses could eventually make the leap to humans, potentially sparking a health crisis like the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Ultimately, this work provides us with more incontrovertible evidence that the coming decades will not only be hotter but sicker,” Gregory Albery, a disease ecologist at Georgetown University and co-lead author of the study, said in a call with reporters.

“Climate Change” is the greatest financial scam in the history of the world (to date). Real science does not support much of anything in the “Climate Change” narrative. The world could take a small portion of the $150 trillion the elites want to spend on “Climate Change” and do some really good things with cleaning up the environment, advancing medicine, etc., but it would need to be done outside the auspices of “government”, which is anathema to the left.

Either humanity is the product of billions of years of evolution or the design of a Creator. Either way, humanity would not exist if it was as fragile as the manmade-global-warming activists want us to believe.
Their decades of failed predictions should clue everyone in to the fact that their beloved theories are wrong.
If they can’t identify the problem correctly, they certainly can’t figure out a solution, either.
I suspect that with COVID we all would have been much better off if we had done absolutely nothing in response than making the response we did globally. That is, it should have been treated like we treat the flu every year. Likewise, any supposed tiny increase in global temperatures is the kind of change we can adapt to and go on living our lives as normal.
