Take her to the range and get her into guns.
You need to take her to the range frequently. If you have guns in the house, everyone needs to be comfortable with them around. If she resists, feed her a steady diet of YouTube videos of random acts of violence until she understands why guns always need to be within reach.
Good gun belt and inside the waste band holster, long tee shirts or untuck it shirts.

I have one in my pocked all the time and an extra mag. If you are going to carry.... carry. If you have kids in the house that makes the need for safes more important.
Front pocket on your strong side. Get a pocket holster that obscures the outline.

Either she gets on board or divorce her. Its not just for grins or just your own self defense you are doing this. If she cant figure it out and wont take your lead on family security, ifs time to part ways.
Because she will only get worse and continue to oppose you. Everyone else in the world can oppose you, but your wife isn’t supposed to do that if what you’re doing is legal and reasonable. Shes already dividing you two right now on a very major issue.
+1 but my experience as a range officer is that husbands teaching their wife is a sketchy proposition at best. If possible get her into a class for ladies.

My son has something like this to store a pistol. The idea is, it is hidden but not locked away to make it difficult to get to quickly, also, unless you know what you are looking for, I don’t thin anyone would recognize this. This is not the one he has so there are probably other brands.
Women are least likely to listen to anything their husbands tryto say to change their minds.
She either accepts it or its no more Mrs. For her. Then she can live gun free and do whatever the hell she wants.
Coincidentally, I have been researching this myself. I now live in the Free State of Florida. It gets hot and humid here. So, I wear Cargo Shorts most of the time. So, I began researching for Cargo Shorts that facilitate concealed carry.
I found on Amazon Cargo Shorts that have a holster built-in that has a curved plastic exterior facing insert in the pocket that conceals the outline of the weapon placed in them. Making the carry inconspicuous. Hope this helps.

I wear a guayabera and carry with an inside belt-trousers holster. No one notices, including wife (or at least she doesn’t comment).
