+1 but my experience as a range officer is that husbands teaching their wife is a sketchy proposition at best. If possible get her into a class for ladies.
That’s so true, preferably with a couple of her friends. (Imagine trying to teach your wife to drive. If you do that you better be carrying). My wife loved CCW class and learned a lot.

Yup. Hubby generally should not be the instructor. We have a ladies day at our club with a female NRA Certified Pistol Instructor teaching women safe gun handling and marksmanship.
Yes, yes, yes. There are classes. The big draw is that the ladies can complain about their hubbies and suggest targets.

I've made that same observation of that dynamic. Curiously, a boyfriend taking a girlfriend to a range to teach her to shoot is a fun date...and generally I've noticed girlfriends tend to be very receptive and have a lot of fun.
Wives being coached by a husband? Not so much.
