Some people expect accurate statistics during this chaotic invasion but we will never be able to say with certainty that during the first six days of the war: There were 1227 civilians killed, 5791 civilians seriously injured or maimed, 1683 Ukrainian soldiers killed, 4683 seriously injured or maimed, 2873 captured while Russian forces suffered 1021 soldiers-sailors-airmen killed, 3947 wounded, and 183 captured. All stats at this point are very limited and even a year from now we should have little confidence in such numbers. That is why your heartbreaking photograph is so important in bypassing statistic.
