Reversing desertification would benefit the planet and reduce CO2 more than any stupid technology scheme. Not much grant money for that.

Bingo! I hear trees even make copies of themselves without the assistance of a bureaucrat or higher taxes and more regulations.

Emaciated polar bear skeletons floating on frozen sea ice on a dead planet is a much better outcome than fat, healthy polar bears swimming in open water with Canadian and Russian tundra becoming breadbaskets.

I was under the impression that fuel cells typically had a fan and/or ducting to bring fresh air to the membrane that combines the hydrogen with the fresh air (to get the oxygen out of the air).

Awesome! Once all plant life is dead, we can enjoy living on a world that looks like Arrakis.

Although Tatooine is also attractive.

Sounds like a weapon. Why would we do that? Kill all vegetation in the vicinity?

Why would we remove a gas that makes up .03 to <1% of the air we breath?

Stupid. Remove 99% of the CO2 from the air and we’re dead. All plants are dead. Animals that eat plants die. Animals that eat those animals die. The world ends.
