I’ve never done a vanity of this nature before and few vanities period in 22 years here ..maybe 3-4 She was a greater NYC resident who I think with her husband moved to the Deep South maybe Alabama in older age a few years ago She was erudite and smart I liked her a lot and both of us having been Manhattan dwellers when younger appreciated one another defending the finer aspects I believe she’d worked in theatre or the arts She was a true lady here It dawned on me she stopped posting early 2020 with no heads up which is often not good without some foretelling Does anyone know anything Thank y’all

Speaking of Mississippi we had Mississippi day in Central Park west of the Met north of the sheeps mall and we’d plant state and confederate flags and bb king would play and we’d have southern food and Harlem would come down from 110th to eat and hear music

And nobody whined about bit

Southern celebs and politics and pundits

Hodding carter junior and pat Derien who I knew well

Lots of Mississippi gays New York being a Mecca for them of course including that big black gay designer from Vicksburg

It was eccentric and fun and everyone happy no friction

Usually 500 to 1000 southern transplants and locals for the food

After her wonderful MD husband passed she left Mississippi his home in Vicksburg they’d left Kali for and I think moved near her daughter who lives in the Caribbean

And list her zeal for FR

She had some sway here she protected me at times when Howlin wanted my head on a pike help which eventually became futile for me and Matt bracken who knew her too

Many don’t know this but she was gorgeous as a young woman and was something of a celeb for it and courted by famous suitors that’s all I’m saying lol
Man id been smitten if I’d known her

She’s still adorable in my view last pic I saw

I’m very fond of her shes a proper devout Catholic lady and grandma

I hope shes well

I remember he had a job where he worked the night shift, and used to regale us (perhaps exaggerating just a bit) about the history of the mafia in NYC.

I know he used to lament his weight frequently. I hope he is well.

She had an extra credit in , if I recall, Kramer vs Kramer. In a response of mine to someone I mis attributed the film as, again, if I recall “Tootsie”. In any event she corrected me and gave me the specific location in the movie that she appeared. There weren’t many exchanges between us so anyone curious about the lovely MissMarmelstein could search it and see for themselves.
