The credit card companies get rightly mad when a company renegs and the credit card company has to deal with a charge back.
Plus the credit card companies just might put GOFUNDME on their ‘bad dudes to deal with’ list.
Simply put: Credit card companies will cancel a merchant account when there are as many complaints of theft as were no doubt happening. This would put GFM out of business.

And even then, they’ve STILL damaged the donors and recipients because they tied up the money for days/weeks that an honest company would have paid out immediately. Many of those donors probably couldn’t afford to do a double donation through an honest conduit and wait to get the first one back. They should be made to pay for that.
The left has become increasingly lawless. This time next year GoFundMe will probably be able to get away with doing giving this money to a ‘proper’ cause. If they’re still in business.
