The credit card companies get rightly mad when a company renegs and the credit card company has to deal with a charge back.
Plus the credit card companies just might put GOFUNDME on their ‘bad dudes to deal with’ list.
American Express would not do a charge back when I called them last night, before GFM changed their refund policy. Rethinking my relationship with Amex, already done with GFM.
