Former Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores has filed a class-action lawsuit against the NFL, the New York Giants, the Denver Broncos and the Dolphins claiming racial discrimination in the league's hiring process for coaches and executives.
Flores filed the suit in the Southern District of New York on Tuesday. In it he accuses Dolphins owners Stephen Ross of offering him $100,000 for every loss in an effort to tank for the No. 1 draft pick during the 2019 NFL season and includes texts he alleges are from New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick demonstrating that the Giants conducted an interview with Flores while knowing that they already intended to hire Brian Daboll as head coach.
The suit alleges that the Giants interviewed Flores simply to satisfy the NFL's Rooney Rule mandate requiring that teams interview minority candidates.

The 100k per loss incentive to take a dive interests me more than the racial complaint.
He’s just picking up where colon crap-on-neck left off
What did they think would happen?
He was actually in the running until the end. The Giants defensive coordinator will be dismayed to learn he isn’t black enough.
The irony is that he is a good coach, and Miami probably made a mistake in firing him. That said, I’d think twice about hiring him once that he’s pulled the race card.
Hahahaha...great post!
Made me laugh...:)
I'd say he's done.
Yeeeeeeep. I used to think he was pretty good, but he shows his colors. Er, color.
Pretty much for the same reason nobody wanted a race-whiner in Crapadick. (granted, Crapadick had no talent and his career was over)
But still.
Nothing in that article comes across as racist other than the fact they require an interview of black candidates, which is flagrantly racist.
Otherwise The 100k per game to dive to increase their draft position is the more interesting story here.
Oh they interviewed me even though they already had a candidate they wanted… that’s not racists happens all the time in every profession for all kinds of reasons. What’s racist is requiring them to check a box that they interview a candidate purely based on their skin color.
No kidding, if that accusation is proven true, that would call into question the integrity of the NFL is outcomes are fixed, I would not be surprised if the NFL comes down like a ton of bricks on the Dolphin Owner if that’s true, the NFL could make the owner sell the team, there is precedent of forcing owners out, Dan Snyder the Redskins Owner was basically forced to sell.
How many super bowl and playoff wins does Brian Flores have? that’s what they are looking for.
Ah, but does he have a vagina?
Mere skin tone is insufficient. Must have the vaj to be on the short list, like the supreme court.
Am I doing this right?
but the NFL had no use for that horrible, terrible man Rush....no they wouldn’t let Rush buy into a team because all the rest of the owners are of high character and morals.
I heard that he actually told his own starting QB that he should have replaced him with a first round pick in the last draft. One of the two had to go after that.
“The suit alleges that the Giants interviewed Flores simply to satisfy the NFL’s Rooney Rule mandate requiring that teams interview minority candidates.”
If it’s good enough for the Supreme Court, it’s good enough for the NFL.
The NFL Administrators are marinated in WOKEness.
They’ll grab their ankles very quickly, and Mr. Flores will be appeased.
OK -- so what?
Why would anyone think an NFL team would follow a stupid rule like this meticulously?
