Nothing in that article comes across as racist other than the fact they require an interview of black candidates, which is flagrantly racist.

Oh they interviewed me even though they already had a candidate they wanted… that’s not racists happens all the time in every profession for all kinds of reasons. What’s racist is requiring them to check a box that they interview a candidate purely based on their skin color.

Um, Black Coaches, the NFL hires on MERIT. If you don’t get the job, its because, and ONLY because its been decided that you’re NOT GOOD ENOUGH. And suing won’t make people hire you. Its the kind of crap teams don’t want or need in the locker rooms and front offices.
If you want to file a lawsuit, sue to get rid of the Rooney Rule. That way, you can get treated as equals, not minorities.

The black population is 13.2% in the US. Make it a rule that 13.2% of all coaches and players in the NFL are black! 13.2% and not more or less than that number. Wouldn’t that be true equality and equity?
I was somewhat surprised by his firing after the Dolphins finished above .500 this season. They didn’t make the playoffs but they finished strong after a horrendous start. He must have gotten along poorly with the owner, whom he is now suing.

...in 40+ years, I’ve interviewed hundreds of people and dozens for executive type positions. I ALWAYS interviewed in person and on executive types I usually interviewed 2-3 times before making a decision. For a CPA/lawyer one time, I interviewed a dozen people, some multiple times.
Flores is ate up with racism and has shot himself in the foot.
The NFL is a despicable, unpatriotic organization GENERALLY. On that Flores and I agree.
