Me too, I’ve been feeling like a leper. I thought I had covid, actually I didn’t but I figured I should get tested anyway. It felt just like a cold, mainly a cough although I could breathe just fine.. Which it was, test said it was neither covid nor the flu. But now hubby has something worse, he has a fever and can’t breathe. So now I have to wait for his test results to leave the house. Luckily Cooper and I still get to go into the forest so I’m not completely housebound. I just don’t see people.
Damn that dam!
From the reading, tremendous work from the locals kept her fit.
In my mind’s eye, for the win- I see a dredger filling barges with the toxic laced mud.
Tough situation...
Prayers your husband gets well soon!
When it was in its prime as a museum, it was spotless and looked as new as the day it came out of the Philadelphia shipyard.
Some of the volunteers were men who served in WW2 on similar Fleet-type submarines, so they had great stories to tell.
It also had a memorial outside to the 3500 officers and crew who died in WW2 on the 52 US submarines that are “still on patrol”.
Thanks! I like that picture.
Someone should hack the electronic signs near Ottawa with that second meme.
Hope your hubby doesn’t have COVID.
Can you get him to take your Ivermectin?
I don’t know what we all had, son came down with it 1st.
Figured he got it at work but it wasn’t COVID.
He was sick for a week and hubby and I have been ill for a couple of weeks.
Now what we mostly have is a cough that won’t go away.
When I lay down at night I really start couching and haven’t slept well in a while.
Just drag around all day long.
This too shall pass but it better hurry, dang it!
You are welcome, wes.

I am a life member of American Legion Post #263, in Lincoln, IL. Fridays are fish fry dinner nights and for a stretch of time I volunteered to be a part of the kitchen help, mostly busing tables.
On one very special occasion the Legion hosted a Submarine Association’s annual get together, to include dinner. I volunteered to be a busboy for the evening meal.
The way the submarine group honored the lost souls was evocative, starting with the overhead lights being turned off leaving the individual tables with one table lamp each. As the emcee read off a lost sub’s name and how many souls were lost, a table (pre-planned) would turn off their light, and a bell would sound once- ding ))) ))) ))). One by one this roll call of lost subs went on from table to table until there was, but a single table left with a light on. The emcee read the final boat’s name and with it how many souls were lost or that went down with the sub, then a bell rang, and the final light was extinguished, leaving the room pitch black. The emcee asked for a moment of silence, but the room was already dead quiet. I stood at the back of the room the whole time at attention, and when the final light went out, I felt like I had been on one of those boats and that I had somehow lost all of my crew.
The experience was one of the most powerful and haunting things I’ve ever been a part of or witnessed in my lifetime. I felt extremely grateful for the privilege of being able attend such an auspicious memorialization of departed veterans that had made the ultimate sacrifice for their country and were being honored by their brothers in arms with a most dignified ceremony.
🤣
What a haunting tribute!
I could “see” everything you were describing!
I still have goosebumps from reading it!
Thank you for sharing that with us!
Thanks for the new thread, weston!

New Study on Ivermectin ‘Should Convince Any Naysayer’: Dr. Pierre Kory

A recently published study indicating the anti-parasitic ivermectin worked well as a prophylactic against the virus that causes COVID-19 should help sway critics of the drug, according to Dr. Pierre Kory, president of the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC).
“That should convince any naysayer,” Kory told The Epoch Times’ “American Thought Leaders.” “What they found was astounding.”
The Brazilian city of Itajaí launched a program that gave ivermectin to any residents that wanted any. The period that was studied was from July 7, 2020, to December 2, 2020.
Researchers found that the program, which had over 100,000 residents participate, was linked to a 44 percent drop in COVID-19 cases.
Approximately 3.7 percent of ivermectin users contracted the illness during the trial period, compared to 6.6 percent of residents who didn’t take the drug.
The program was also associated with a statistically significant decrease in hospitalization and mortality.
The peer-reviewed study was published in Cureus on Jan. 15.
“Ivermectin MUST be considered as an option, particularly during outbreaks,” Dr. Flavio Cadegiani, one of the study’s authors and a founding member of FLCCC, told The Epoch Times in an email.
FLCCC focuses on early treatment of COVID-19, the disease caused by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus. The group has recommended ivermectin since early 2020.
Kory said the lack of reporting on the study despite it being peer-reviewed highlights how some scientific developments are ignored by many media outlets and scientists.
“You would think this would lead major headlines everywhere. And yet, nothing. And this is not new, this censorship of this highly effective science and evidence around repurposed drugs. The censoring of it, it’s not new, it’s just getting more and more absurd. And it has to stop,” he said.
LOVE that handshake!! 🇨🇦🇺🇸❤️
