When you are awake, you stand on the outside of the stable (‘group-think’ collective), and have ‘free thought’.
"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.
The choice is yours, and yours alone.
Trust and put faith in yourself.

It’s set in what looks to be the 1950’s after the US has lost a war. It dramatizes how the new teachers can get children to believe anything they want them to believe.

Just like a social media feed, the brain is constantly uploading new and rich visual stimuli. However, to keep everything that our eyes are taking in every second of every day in order, the study finds the brain actually presents us with an image from 15 seconds earlier.
The findings provide new insights into what scientists call the mind’s “continuity field,” a function of perception where the brain merges with what our eyes see to provide a sense of stability. Without it, study authors say the world would actually appear like a blurry jumble in your eyes.

Outraged that Biden’s federal worker mandate stands, he is leading federal workers to stand up to him.

I was stripped of committees for doing absolutely nothing wrong, but Adam Kinzinger still has all of his committees and sits on the most dangerous unconstitutional committee of them all.
Kinzinger serves his leader Nancy Pelosi on her J6 Committee.
While Adam Kinzinger retweets demented tweets by leftists that use language referencing killing President Trump and while he takes part in the Democrat’s politically targeted witch hunt to destroy any and all Republicans, Adam Kinzinger is still a member of our GOP conference and has his other Republican given committees.
It’s time Kevin McCarthy does something about Adam Kinzinger and Liz Cheney.

This is a study under NIDA https://nida.nih.gov —The Natl Institute on Drug Abuse. The NIDA is not Fauxi’s NIAID (nat inst allergy and infectious disease) as it runs parallel with different research objectives, but is still under the NIH (nat institueS of health umbrella) run by Francis Collins.
Looks like the study is to evaluate the drug interaction of cocaine with a proprietary agent on telemetry using the vest (heart, cardiovascular, lung). They have written in other agents of abuse like meth and opiates into the proposal. My guess is that the proprietary agent is a rescue agent or an anti abuse agent of some sort. It looks like the researchers are scaling this from rodents into larger animals (dogs). Usually this is specifically done to evaluate cardiovascular effects, before moving research to humans, if it merits going there.
Yes, animals are used in research. The rules and regs for humane care and use for lab animals in the US is extreme, in favor of the animals. I have experienced this first hand at both the university level and the NIH.
Yes, some people do treat animals poorly, have experiments that are not appropriate, and are evil.
