The legendary rock group Nickelback has announced that they will pull their song collection from Spotify. A spokesman for Spotify stated "Since no one has ever tried to listen to Nickelback on Spotify the move will have no impact on our business."
:-)
Look for them on late-night TV infomercials hosted by names equally unknown.
Don’t despair; these has beens are welcome back on spotify any time they decide to stop self-censoring.
#36 - now that’s funny! 😂
Nine out of ten terrorists prefer waterboarding to Nickleback.
I find it amazing that the hypocritical media slam Rogan for having guests on his show that they have judged don’t deserve to have a voice. They believe that the public is so easily swayed and it is a duty of the media to filter out anything that they deem unacceptable. They slam Rogan with the criticism that, “If he is interviewing someone, he must agree 100% with that person’s opinion.”
I remember a time not too long ago - back in the day of real journalism - when the media was eager to interview edgy and controversial figures. If Hitler was alive back then they would be falling all over themselves to interview him.
An obvious publicity stunt from a group that has been irrelevant since the turn of the century.
Legendary? Never heard of ‘em.
I have it on good authority that Yoko Ono has threatened to put her songs on Spotify if Rogan isn’t pulled . . .
Best quote I heard about Nickelback back in the day was that they are “the band that everybody wants to listen to but nobody wants to look at.” :)
—”Get woke, go broke.”
I saw an article that explained, Spotify LOSES money with each playing of a Neil Young song.
To advertise on the Joe Rogan Experience show requires a ONE MILLION DOLLAR commitment.
“In fact, the company loses money every time someone streams Young’s songs, which is why Spotify wanted to get into podcasting in the first place. It makes money every time someone listens to Rogan.”
Blackstone running the table.
They’ll hekp push every song off Spotify, until Spotify caves.
They’ll have to, to stay in business.
Greenwald got it right, “How much Pain can Spotify take?”
Nice. :)
Again..WHO? What is it with no name weirdos Ive never heard of dropping from Spotify..seriously who cares..when they realize they are losing money by their music not being on spotify they will come begging to be allowed back in
Are not all their hits the same song?
Yoko Ono beat them to it.
Most people can find their music pretty much anywhere now on the Internet and not just on Spotify. I don’t use any of these music services and don’t care to.
I tried Pandora and it was okay but not something I had to have.
😂 OMGosh,, What a Great BURN!
Darnit.. I so wish this were a true story.. hehehehe
