My son got the skin sensitivity when he had COVID a few weeks ago. Very light case, gone in a couple days, but that was a symptom he had that my husband and I did not.

I had mild skin sensitivity on my back for the day and a half I had COVID-19 in late December.
It was like rough clothing had been rubbing the skin, there.

I know everything is Covid now, but skin sensitivity has long been a symptom of flu and other diseases. "Extreme exhaustion, headaches, feeling achy, a fever and chills, and skin that's sensitive to the touch are all signs" of flu, WebMD notes.

I don’t think it’s covid. I’m watching two triple vaccinated friends develop skin inflammation that cannot be alleviated.

We are pretty much over it after 2+ weeks.
We still have fatigue and the weird COVID rash. I have it across my chest, the wife has it on her chest and back. Red welts that don’t really itch or anything.

I’ve had rashes on both thighs and wrists since getting the Omicron in early January.
My doctor told me it’s normal to have a virus rash. “I told him, I don’t have herpes. Fix this.”
After three weeks of it, he finally asked me to come in. We shall see.
