Back in the 1950s, âBrinkmanshipâ was official policy. That entire âDuck and Coverâ BS was no accident. From 1945 until current day the USA has outweaponized the entire world by leaps and bounds. I have always been OK with that, until the Zero was thrust upon us.

I have wept so much regarding the lives of people and their families whom I have never known since 2001.

As much as I don’t like winter up here in the Northeast I do prefer the area. Just when you get sick of one season it changes. Summers are not so brutal. I know Southern Summers. I spent a LOT of time at my grandparent’s place in North Carolina growing up. Not to mention the insects and spiders down there. Yeesh. The first time I saw a rhino beetle I was freaked out for years.
I don’t mind snow. What I do mind is what happened this morning. Four inches of snow and then at least an inch or two of rain on top of it. Plowing and shoveling that stuff was BRUTAL.
