I have wept so much regarding the lives of people and their families whom I have never known since 2001.
I cannot beat my own drum all the time, but I have seriously tried to make a difference in the lives of persons whom I have never met. I have Thank You Cards and more from Troops and others for my efforts.
I feel the pain that Bob Ireland is currently enduring, to some degree, along with his own problems, but this is after all the ‘Q’ thread.
Nobody wrote me out here when I thought that my boy was dead. He wasn’t Dead, but I thought that he was.
I am just some insensitive insufferable SOB who deserves rebuke from a part time Poster who lacks a sense of humor. Oh fine, give me a lesson on English Prose while you are tuned out of the world.
Shit happens, And I know that. I am not seeking forgiveness for being ‘offensive’ on Free Republic.
It is mindful of the ‘Happy Birthday’ stuff on Face Book. Happy Birthday from your 5000 great friends out there, 5000 times.

I am sorry about your boy Bob. I want to weep some more. Perhaps I have done so, but I don’t want to post about it, though it might help me deal with some high and mighty Poster who thinks that ‘Condolences Bob’ times a few hundred actually has an impact on a Father’s true grief.
Call me a Cynic. Next week I may be weeping myself. It has happened before.

When I taught 7th-grade Math, I liked to throw in a joke/play on words every now and again. It was interesting, to say the least, to observe who got the joke, who looked around trying to figure out why some were laughing, and then the facial expressions of the lost when they finally got it. Most joined in with late laughter, but some were embarrassed.
