Has anyone else been experiencing a pet food shortage? I see the shelves at pet stores and pet supply stores have empty spaces, especially for kitten food. I used to be able to find Purina ProPlan kitten food with no problem, but lately I can only find a couple of flavors--of course, the ones my kitten is not particularly fond of. I also tried Chewy and Amazon, and their selection of PPP kitten food also consists of only a couple of flavors. Let's go Brandon!
Brick and mortar is closing down, Sales are online.
Dimocrats hate cats. Never had cat food shortages when Trump was POTUS
We ordered some plain old canned cat-food from amazon
and it has a 3 week delivery estimate.
I’ve had trouble finding cat food in MA. I recently had to get a 15 pound bag, which is much bigger than I really wanted. But I didn’t have much choice, and I guess now I don’t have to worry about it for some time.
Yes...both in store and online
Everything these days is subject to intermittent shortages.
Couldn’t get real cream from Walmart or Aldi’s for a few weeks because they couldn’t get the packaging.
The supply chain as we knew it is never coming back. Just-in-time was a totally interconnected system. Some of those parts are gone forever.
Kroger tuna fish is cheaper than cat-food.
Cat food shortages have been going on for almost 2 years now. Also the quality and consistency was real bad for a while. At least with the Friskees. When you shake a can of Pate and you can hear and feel it slosh around that is not normal. Next time the Pate needs water added.
Don’t worry. Starving people will soon be eating cats.
Petsmart folks told me that manufacturers are having problems getting cans for the food. I don’t know if that’s true or not. We ordered from Chewy, and they had what we needed.
I try to keep at least a three month supply of cat and dog food on hand because we now live in the land of sometimes.
Soon enough, you will be eating them.
My local store in MA is out of wet/canned food. Maybe has 5-7 varieties of dry.
I have not seen any shortages for dog food.
Tractor supply has wet cat food.
The “14 days to slow the spread” shutdowns that lasted months messed everything up. The Dems never realized that EVERYTHING is interconnected.
Cat food - YES! Fancy Feast is rationed at my Publix. No Sheba.
Yes they did. They think think that they are going to be exempt from the consequences because they think George Soros and Bill Gates are going to invite them to their Great Reset escape compounds.
