A Chicago bus driver landed in the hospital after he was beaten on the streets Saturday night, resulting in a 15-year-old boy being arrested.
The bus driver, 49, was inspecting his bus at about 9 p.m. after he heard a loud sound. He was reportedly pushed and punched by both a male and female, police said. An unidentified 15-year-old boy was charged with a felony count of aggravated battery of a transit employee and disorderly conduct in connection.
Footage allegedly showing the incident has spread on social media. A large group of youths is seen surrounding the bus driver and hitting and kicking him as onlookers cheer and record the incident.

She’s worried about that, because she needs the buses to run, but the bus services will collapse in Chicago, it’s just a matter of when. Summer of 2022 wouldn’t surprise me.
I take it “Juveniles” is the new “Teens?”
If they had 2 parents, there’d likely already be more responsibility

I was to travel through Chicago a while back and could not make myself do it after the last time. I ended up detouring so far south of the suburbs that I added more than a little mileage and time to the trip.
Worth it? Absolutely.
Back in the day we had another name for them.
The word “feral” comes to mind. By the way, we never hear the term “juvenile delinquent” anymore. Was that deemed offensive somehow?

Hope the bus driver is okay. Hope he moves to a safer place, Florida, Texas, Tennessee, anywhere but a blue state. Bet he won’t be voting for leftist district attorneys. Earlier this year, McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski wrote about some other instances of Chicago youth and violent behavioe, saying parents had failed their kids. He was the target of relentless attacks, calling him racist, privileged, out of touch. He apologized and expressed woke platitudes. It wasn’t enough. Mayor Lightfoot herself put out a press release, stating that “victim shaming has no place in this conversation.”
Of course, pointing out that our progressive betters are loud hypocrites is like saying water is wet. I noticed that the race of the youths is never mentioned, so I know it’s not white supremacy roaming the streets. Ugh.
