We are indeed in scary times.
I know it is near impossible for many to just get up and move from a dangerous situation.
Praying your daughter will be protected from any harm and they catch and prosecute the perpetrators.
Exactly.
Congrats on getting post #2000!
That was when I wanted to go, but didn’t make it last summer. My daughters insisted I come up there for Christmas, so I’m going. And I’m not looking forward to wearing a mask in the plane all that time.

That’s awful about your FIL nursing home. Must he stupid regulations prevent them from getting it fixed faster. Those poor patients must be so scared and confused. Glad you were able to help. Are you able to take him home for a day or two for Christmas?
I just noticed that! This is my lucky day!

Will Biden pay reparations to these folks too?
BOMBSHELL: In court filing, Facebook admits ‘fact checks’ are nothing more than opinion
As we have previously reported, journalist John Stossel is suing Facebook after Facebook’s ‘fact checkers’ labeled climate change information that Stossel posted as “false and misleading”. In the middle of all this is the nefarious website “Climate Feedback” which has a bunch of climate zealots that write up what they claim are “fact checks” for articles, videos, and news stories they disagree with.
Facebook just blew the “fact check” claim right out of the water in court.
In its response to Stossel’s defamation claim, Facebook responds on Page 2, Line 8 in the court document (download it below) that Facebook cannot be sued for defamation (which is making a false and harmful assertion) because its ‘fact checks’ are mere statements of opinion rather than factual assertions.
Opinions are not subject to defamation claims, while false assertions of fact can be subject to defamation. The quote in Facebook’s complaint is,
“The labels themselves are neither false nor defamatory; to the contrary, they constitute protected opinion.”
How horrible for your FIL and all those who were residents in this care facility.
I can’t imagine what an ordeal this is for all of them but I do know it has to be devastating.
I am so sorry.
Great article by Greenwald.
Thanks for posting.

Illegals are flooding into the Yuma sector, trying to get in before the “Remain in Mexico” gets rolling.
Called my SIL and she said it is really impacting them in Yuma.
Haven’t heard squat from our feckless governor on the problem.

Demaryius Thomas, the former Pro Bowl wide receiver and Super Bowl champion with the Denver Broncos, was found dead Thursday evening, according to Roswell, Ga., police. He was 33.
Thomas was found at his Roswell home, and preliminary information pointed to a medical issue as the cause, police said. “Our investigators currently have no reason to believe otherwise,” a police spokesperson said via email.
“We are devastated and completely heartbroken by the sudden, tragic passing of Demaryius Thomas,” the Broncos said in a statement. “D.T. was beloved by our entire organization, his teammates and coaches, and our fans. Recently retiring as a Bronco, we were very much looking forward to celebrating Demaryius for years to come as one of the greatest players in franchise history.”

Awww, Christmas with cold weather sounds perfect though. Maybe there will even be snow!
A whole lot of WEASELING going on at FB.
Hope Stossel wins his lawsuit.
The CLOTSHOT strikes again?!!!!
