With Thanksgiving just a little over a week away (where did this year go?) it’s time to start thinking about what foods will be gracing your dinner table (if you haven’t done so already!). On the dessert front, pumpkin, pecan, and apple pie are enduring staples, but Reese’s is making the case for peanut butter and chocolate.
The makers of the iconic peanut butter cup have supersized their OG creation into a 3.4-pound “pie” of solid peanut butter and chocolate. Naming it the Reese’s Thanksgiving Pie, this is the largest Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup ever made for sale and it’s only around for a limited time.
The 9-inch pie comes in a festive box adorned with leaves and includes the message “You can thank us later” on the opening flap while “Thankful yet?” can be found on the inside flap. The pie itself comes in a plastic dish that mimics the brown paper wrapping on a regular Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup and is sealed in plastic to ensure freshness. The Reese’s Thanksgiving Pie is most definitely made for sharing, and while the suggested serving size may only be 160 calories, there are about 48 servings per pie. If you can’t get through the entire pie this Thanksgiving though, don’t fret — it can be stored at room temperature and has a recommended shelf life of six months.

Make it 100% cocoa and organic PB, then we’ll talk....
Now we’re talkin’!
Yeah, homemade PB cups are really easy. I’ve done the normal candy size before. Chocolate line the form and chill. Filling is just peanut butter and sugar, then another chocolate layer and chill again.
$45???
What’s Reese’s politics? Who do they support?
Yum. I want this, but it’s sold out on Hershey’s site. Damn.
For your shopping list!
Sorry, it’s deemed ‘racist’ by the PC-WOKESTERS.........

That’s beautiful but overwhelming with that thick chocolate candy shell.
After a few bites, I’d put the rest in the fridge for late night nibbling.
If the dessert could be done as a Peanut Butter Cheesecake, with a very thin chocolate topping, maybe I could deal with that.
Too Late! All 3000 sold out already.

I never liked Reece’s Peanut Butter Cups.
I like Dairy Queen Ice Cream Cakes.
To each her own.
How about a massive Nutty Buddy Yule log for $45?
I’ve made peanut butter cups a number of times. Powdered sugar results in the same texture as in Reese’s
I’ll buy it
I love the mega cup they sell
Fairly rare candy indulgence for me
Replace the turkey ?
Nothing better than PB cups straight from the refrigerator. This is heaven for me.
