Polyester shirts and vinyl seats virtually guaranteed your sideburns were dripping with sweat by the time you got to the disco!

And you let her go?! (the car)Had to let them both go, she was a hairdresser top right of the matrix. It was only going to be a short term deal.

Is that truly a trans Am? And them did it transition? Does it have special rights now?

I read the article. The dealership that built these basically added headers, rejetted the carb and did some suspension work and body graphics. They turbocharged some of them.
Nothing to special.

My Dad had a 1979 Trans Am. Last year for the Pontiac 400 engine. He bought a kit to soup it up.
Headers, intake manifold…..
The thing I remember most about the kit was that it made the hood scoop functional.
Used hinges and magnets.
Fast car for the time.
Dad sold it and the young guy wrapped it around a tree within two months

The gold and chrome around the windows and T-tops don’t mix.

Well I’m holding out for a 1973 TA with the 455 Super Duty engine, not that I can afford one, but I’m gonna dream big.
