PING
Got my share of Vitamin D today. I had a nice walk in the sunshine.
My daughter age 42 just got over Covid this week and she has for years taken Vitamins C, zinc and 4,000 D. She said that this has been the worst illness she has ever experienced. She had102’ fever for 4 days mostly weak and tired. Luckily hubby and 4 kids didn’t get it.
All I am saying is Covid can be very bad and don’t expect a magic pill.
Pass the cheese and milk. (already taking Vitamin D)
wow. glad youe daughter recovvered. severity of symptoms seem to vary from person to person. My sister has it now.
D
C
Zinc
Quercetin
Ecgc
Aspirin
Famotidine
NAC
Horse paste
Etc.
All these just plain work. A combo pill would be great.
I had it and have the persistent antibodies to prove it, and it was just a cold.
I have a theory based on personal observation that Vitamin D supplements actually help in lessening the severity of outbreaks of a number of viruses.
Hope I’m right.
Also, I’d love to know more about the genetic difference between measles, mumps, rubella, and SARS-CoV-2. If it true that there’s a roughly 40 % similaritiy with Rubella and SARS-CoVid sequences, then maybe the infant to school age children are getting some immunity from their MMR vaccines.
All I am saying is Covid can be very bad and don’t expect a magic pill.

I’m glad she got over it!
So many Americans are deficient in D3 that for them, it is a ‘magic pill’. Consider, why hasn’t the CDC mentioned it if it could cut hospitalization/death so economically and improve overall public immunity. WHy not give away D3 at school and at the doctors office? Fauci primly told an interviewer he takes D3 but I haven’t heard him say much about them - just the vax vax vax vax.
I consider it malpractice that doctors don’t get a baseline vit D3 level on every patient.
D3
C
Zinc
Eggs (farm raised if possible)
Fatty fish like sardines and salmon
I almost never get sick and have never had a prescription drug in my life (and I'm almost 60).
As for the fatty fish, yes, I've actually eaten a tin of sardines pretty much every day at lunch for the past quarter century. I eat them right out of the tin with a toothpick. You can take them anywhere.
In the morning, I'll fry up 2-3 eggs in butter and have a full-fat yogurt (which means little to no added sugar) with berries mixed in.

Happy your daughter got over it. Just a thought...different people need different amounts of D3...and the levels most docs consider “normal” are lower than they should be. 60-80 is best...just had mine tested at end of summer...it was 67...and I take @8000iu+ a day during summer. In winter I try and take 10,000 a day.
I so wish I could eat sardines...
I’m on 3 backyard raised eggs per day, and sardines on occasion.
Home roasted coffee too! Full fat milk.
If you are healthy, sugar is good for you.
I take 10k iu because that’s what it takes get your vitamin d levels above 50 ml
Nope...my husband takes Less than 10,000iu a day D3 and maintains above 50 level. People are different. Had an acquaintance who had to take 100,000iu daily...her body just didn’t process it well. Everyone should be checked annually. One of the Scandinavian countries does just that.
