The gun scenes in the Alec Baldwin movie "Rust" were considered dangerous enough to provide certain protections ... but not protections for people, but rather the expensive camera.
Ian A. Hudson, a New Mexico-based principal cast member who plays an outlaw in the film, tells TMZ ... his last scene in the movie on October 8 was a shootout where he was killed, and he says he was terrified that there were 20 pistols and 2 rifles that were unloading blanks, and the only protection against a mishap was some sort of shield around the camera.
-snip-
Hudson says the other, more experienced actors checked their weapons 2 or 3 times after they received them from the armorer, and it didn't matter whether they were told the gun was "cold" or "hot." Baldwin did not check the weapon, but rather relied on the assistant director who assured him the gun was "cold."

It’s the F.A.G. Way!
Santa Fe county DA is Lezbo Soros puppet. She/he has been given her/his orders to let Baldwin skate.
I was on-set when 310 to Yuma was shot. Everything from horses to costumes to location PLUS gun props were managed by a team. The producers and Mangold knew how to control the set like absolute pros. I think the only issue was that the catering trucks were always late and that the cast had nowhere to go to unwind.
One of the best movies I've ever seen.
More experienced actors? More than Baldwin? He has been in 100 movies and used guns in 50 of them. How much experience do you need. He was just lazy.
“Baldwin has been movies for how long now? And he is still (in)experienced in handling weapons?”
I suspect that a factor that we’ll hear about is that Baldwin was such an asshole that no one had the guts to tell him he was being incredibly careless. Feel terrible for the woman and her family, but happy as heck that Baldwin will (hopefully) get the ‘justice’ he deserves.
.
They weren’t filming, right?
There was no need to fire the gun that wasn’t checked by Baldwin.
He was fooling around or pissed about the grind with Union peeps leaving.
Preventable on many levels.
They weren’t filming, supposedly rehearsing.
Where were the ballistic shields?
.
Yeah...AB will skate or walk. Maybe a civil suit.
.
There’s an understatement.
Divas with guns.
.
they could’ve had more cameras filming from different angles...
The original 1957 version starring Glenn Ford and Van Heflin is very good, too. It was based on a 1953 short story by Elmore Leonard who wrote a lot of western books before moving onto the crime genre.
So all of the sudden Baldwin isn’t an experienced actor?
Baldwin might be lazy, but this shooting death needs to be investigated carefully.
And it shouldn’t be investigated by anyone who belongs to the same secret club Baldwin belongs to.
Alec didn’t shoot the actors, so odd headline.
Pretty sure they all belong to that club.
Not the club I’m talking about.
“The majority of players in Hollywood are card carrying satanists. They keep it a secret. Their families keep it a secret. They attend black masses. They attend orgies. They attend animal sacrifices. They attend human sacrifices. They pretend to be atheists and Christians to the public. But they are full blown satanists operating under disguise. In private if you are at a party with them inside one of their homes you will be able to tell by the artwork they keep. They always most always have some sort of satanic artwork. If you are good friends with them they will tell you that they are a satanist and that they believe that Satan is more powerful as God and is going to defeat him in the end times. These people hold sacrifices during certain times of the year.”
