Horrific. Cardinal Burke just sent out an email. It’s a long letter and were it not for that I’d post it here. In the letter, he addresses the issue of good “Catholic” politicians who continue to receive Holy Communion while publicly advocating for abortion in clear violation of canon law.
The matter was brought up at their annual meeting of U.S. Conference of Bishops in 2004 (good “Catholic” politician John Kerry was running for president at the time) and it was delegated to a “task force” and promptly forgotten.
Cardinal Burke asks for our prayers. He must have been privy to this meeting. There are no coincidences.

Biden admin temporarily barred from firing employees seeking vax exemptions after DC judge issues minute order
A Washington, D.C., district court judge issued a minute order Thursday asking the Biden administration to agree that both civilian and active-duty military plaintiffs will not be terminated while they await a ruling after they sued the administration over religious exemptions to COVID-19 vaccines.
“None of the civilian employee plaintiffs will be subject to discipline while his or her request for a religious exception is pending,” read a minute order from District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly obtained by Fox News.
The judge also asked the administration to agree that “active duty military plaintiffs, whose religious exception requests have been denied, will not be disciplined or separated during the pendency of their appeals.”
The judge further ordered the defendants in the Biden administration to file a supplemental notice by noon on Friday that indicates whether they will agree that no plaintiff will be disciplined or terminated pending the court’s ruling, or else another briefing will be scheduled.

I’ve made some pretty awesome fragrance blends from EOs. Don’t know how they compare to “real” perfumes as I never smell them.
I can list some of the ones I have used if you want. They do need top, middle and bass notes but that is easy to figure out once one is familiar with a wide range of EOs. With messing around with EOs, the maxim “a little goes a long way” needs to be etched in one’s brain. And “a little more can’t hurt” is a often lie.

This section in chapter 1 goes on to explain how such an insane thing could be real. Essentially, after Democrats accused Republicans of cheating in a New Jersey race in 1981, a judge banned the RNC from poll-watching and voting litigation everywhere in the country, then kept re-upping the order until 2018, when it finally expired three years after he died.
