Update on Ohio government employees vaccine incentives program:
It has been 17 days since it was announced by The Whiner that state employees can get up to $900 bucks in addition to the $100 they could already get if they prove they got the Notavax.
About 40% submitted such proof starting sometime early in the summer when only $100 bucks was the offer.
Any agency that gets 65% proof (of first dose at least) by 10.15 gets to give their employees another $300 bucks.
They had vax drives for the past two weeks at state work sites.
There are no numbers out yet on how many more workers uploaded proof of being jabbed.
I did some research on first jab numbers in Ohio generally.
In the last two weeks of September, 100,329 Ohioans got their first Notavax.
In the first two weeks of October, 67,976 got it.
There needs to be about 10K state employees freshly jabbed to get to around 65%.
Somehow I am thinking that 1/5 of that 68K number are NOT likely state employees.
(Caveat: There is no way of knowing how many state employees were jabbed in the summer but never submitted paperwork for the $100 bucks but now may do so because $400 is on the table for them.)
I would so love it if the numbers of state employees who prove they got the Notavax is less than the number of Ohioans in general who are reported to have taken it.
