I lost my mom in the beginning of September. Got a chance to witness to her (briefly) about 4 or 5 days before she passed.

Oh Patriot777, I don’t know whether to say “Praise God” or “ so sorry for your loss here on earth”...
I guess both.
My beloved husband, who I was married to for 62 years, joined that heavenly band of believers on August 23rd.... just five weeks ago today.

I told our pastor that I was thrilled for my beloved ( who had battled Parkinsons for 15 years) but it sure stinks for the rest of us left behind.
I know the grieving you feel right now. The loss...the empty spaces.....and yes the tears are flowing freely so often,
but oh the Joy of seeing our Savior and Lord and joining the hosts of those who have gone on before us. We can’t even IMAGINE that Joy!!
Just think of this fact.
YOUR father now knows MY husband and they are both out of this messed up world.

A temporal loss nevertheless. When our loved ones depart into glory, we both grieve and rejoice. I have recently experienced.
