Rest in peace.
Prayers up for you, my FRiend.
Eternal rest grant unto your father, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
God keep you.
My thoughts are with you...
Prayers.
So great to have the promise that your dad is with our Lord.
Amen and amen.
Prayers for you all. Love never dies.
I’m so sorry, I know that whatever your age losing a parent makes you feel strangely unmoored.
So sorry for your loss. May you find peace in his memory.
May our Heavenly Father bless and comfort you and your family for your loss.
Be assured your father is enjoying a grand reunion with his loved ones who have passed on and a loving Savior.
Sorry for your loss. It takes a chunk out of your heart. My dad was the best friend I’ve ever had.
Spent the evening of my Dad’s death at his bedside with his best friend. After a few hours of being there and talking we started to laugh. That’s when my Popo took his last breaths. It like he realized he knew we were going to be OK.
I know what last breaths sound like because I’ve worked in hospitals and immediately started to cry, went to hug him and said “I wish I just got to tell him “Thank You”.
Read an article a few weeks later here at FR. It said that people who have been resuscitated kept hearing after they took their last breaths. Think and hope he heard me.
You and I will see our loved ones again. (If we behave!)
Since we have that same spirit of faith, which corresponds to what is written: “I believed; therefore, I have spoken,” we also believe, and therefore we speak. For we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus will also raise us with Jesus and bring us (together with you) into his presence. In fact, all this is for your benefit, so that as grace increases, it will overflow to the glory of God, as more and more people give thanks.
Therefore we are not discouraged. But even if our outer self is wasting away, yet our inner self is being renewed day by day. Yes, our momentary, light trouble produces for us an eternal weight of glory that is far beyond any comparison. We are not focusing on what is seen, but on what is not seen. For the things that are seen are temporary, but the things that are not seen are eternal.
2 Corinthians 4 13-18
Your headline says the best thing you can ever say about anyone who has passed.
God Bless you.
Amen.
Prayers!
Prayers!
I rejoice with you that your beloved Dad is with our Lord! We will see them all again sooner than folks would like to admit. The Great Depar4ture is close now. And those in Christ will God bring with Him as He descends from heaven with a shout.
