Folks, might I suggest broadening your review of numbers. De-emphasize what you hear of US numbers and look more carefully overseas.

Answer to the last, and others — because everyone is essentially sure there is agenda in US data. In contrast, Russia doesn’t care what Republicans or Democrats want. Ditto Peru and Indonesia.

Those days (pre 2020 days) seem so far away now.
But from what I recall, at least half of the people who may or may not have gotten the flu after getting a flu shot assumed they just got a bad cold or some other bug rather than the flu.
I remember back when I started one job, a government job, and the very first day I had my email up and running there were already two days’ worth of emails to go through, many of which were announcements that so and so was going to be out that day. I thought, “So it’s true what they say about government workers not having to work much and getting lots of time off.”
Well, it turned out some bad bug was going around. There was never any other time when I had that job that so many people called off. A week later I came down with it, albeit not as badly as others, but I couldn’t call off because I was new. And the person training me got it a couple days later.
And a lot these people had gotten the flu vax because they came around and gave it out.
So was it the flu? Did that particular flu strain evolve quickly around the vax and the flu became worse than it would have otherwise if no one had gotten the flu vax?
Quite possible.
And if that happens with something like influenza, perhaps we shouldn’t go messing around with vaxxes for coronaviruses in a bad coronavirus epidemic when we never messed around with vaxxes for coronaviruses before and really don’t know what we are doing.
I truly don’t know what to believe- though the intense pressure from some quarters to get the shots is alarming to me.
For reasons I can’t really articulate, I’ve not gotten the vax. At first it was just a strong gut feeling, partly because of how quickly it was tested and produced. Over time the feeling got stronger. At work it’s a mixed bag but most telling is they aren’t mandating it. Not yet anyway. I’m amazed by how many nurses haven’t taken it.
It’s an odd and sad time in our country and world.
What does the percentage of unvaccinated people have to do with the number of vaccinated people getting covid, being hospitalized, and dying from covid? The point is the vaccine does not work whether that is do to declining efficacy over time or to it simply not working for the Delta variant might it not be a good question to answer? If we are going to hand out boosters that do not work for the dominant variant wouldn’t that be good know before we destroy what little faith many Americans have in our highly politicized science hating CDC?
Can you point me to some research on this? I’m interested in learning more. I’ve read about excess iron in relation to alzheimers and some other diseases, but I hadn’t heard it about covid.

You forgot the final coup de grace of the fear, uncertainty, and doubt campaign i.e. If a vaccinated person does get covid it is because an unvaccinated person infected them therefor fear hate and loathe the unvaxxed. It is us or them so maybe if we can’t tie them down and stick a needle in their arms we should move on to more extreme measures - for the comon good of course.
Older people are at higher risk. They have more stored uron.
Men are at higher risk. They have more stored iron.
Maybe having excess iron makes having the wuhan coronavorus worse.

People who eat more iron than they need have unnecessary iron. Removing blood reduces iron. On average, the more iron a person has, the higher his triglycerides and weight circumference.
Men who eat chocolate or meat have more iron than they need. I suggest they donate blood every two years.
If blood ferritin is less than 70 ng/ml, the person has an iron deficiency.
Iron acummulates in the pancreas, liver, and heart and damages these 3 organs.
Seeing that high risk groups for the wuhan coronavirus have more stored iron, researchers from different countries suggested testing treating it with something that removes iron from the body.

Just some more numbers to consider when making personal decisions...for example this Rumble story is quoting percetages now and not raw numbers of fatalities...W. VA is averaging around 10 deaths a day currently, so 2 deaths of vaccinated 90 year olds in a nursing home would result is a “20% increase of vaccinated people”. Goes back to “Figures don’t lie, but...”

If the vaccine is failing in the face of the delta variant then counting the percent of breakthrough cases since the start of vaccinations is comparing apples to oranges. Vaccinations began in December 2020 but the Delta variant didn’t reach WVa until May. You need current numbers. How many covid cases diagnosed to are breakthrough versus how many are among the unvaxxed. Furthe CDC policy is not to test vaccinated people for covid unless they are hospitalized and symptomatic so we don’t know how many mild breakthrough cases there are. In fact for all we know 90% of cases could be breakthrough. The CDC playing stupid games like this and cranking the CT threshold to 40 are the very reason why no sane person would trust them.
