CNN anchor Don Lemon on Tuesday during the handoff from fellow anchor Chris Cuomo criticized the unvaccinated as “selfish.”
Lemon said, “If you’re not gonna get vaccinated, you don’t want to social distance, you don’t want to wear a mask, maybe you don’t wanna go to the hospital when you get sick. I know that sounds harsh, but you’re taking up the space for people who are doing things the right way. You and I both agree on this is going to be between the vaccinated and unvaccinated moving forward in this country. And I just think if you don’t want to play by any of those rules and all of a sudden, you end up in the hospital, I feel bad, but maybe you shouldn’t go and take the resources from someone else. That’s it.”

Maybe slightly off topic but last night I had the misfortune of being sent to the emergency room by my primary care doc. I was sent for a suspected intestinal blockage. It was 445 pm when I arrived. I was utterly horrified at what I encountered. First the waiting room was occupied by several obviously very sick people on gurneys, these folks were wrapped in blankets, shivering and coughing. Two had no masks because they were trying to talk on cell phones. There were at least 6 others wrapped up laying across chairs. The staff was going around enforcing masks but some just lowered them again. I quickly checked in and told the receptionist I would wait in my car which I did. Evidently most emergency room beds are occupied by COVID patients, leaving only 3 available for new patients. I was in some pain but after 6 hours sitting in my car I went back in and told the staff I was leaving. The receptionist told me that was fine since they estimated it would be another 24 hours before I could be seen. Went home and called my doc today and had them order scans and what not. The doc strongly suggested I go back to the er...I adamantly suggested I would drive 200 miles to find somewhere else or wait till I pass out so an ambulance takes me in.
The emergency departments really need a process to segregate COVID from other emergencies or change the procedures so non-covid patients can be seen and moved on.
I don’t plan to visit this er anytime unless absolutely required and an ambulance carries me in.
I wouldn’t touch anything he touches or sit where he sits.
With or without the shot.

If you catch the China virus, this is good advice. The hospital is unlikely to help you. Call a teledoc instead.
I am not high risk....I don’t think. And yes I understand I would have to pop positive and or be high risk.
My point was there is an alternative to going to the hospital if you have covid but that intellectual lightweight lemon ain’t bright enough to know it.
On a side note a couple weeks ago my step brother was positive and not well at all. He took the monoclonal antibody therapy and was much much better in no more than an hour or two.
He stated is consisted of four injections, one in each arm and one on either side of the stomach, under the rib cage.......I’ve had my share of all kinds d’s of injections
in my 61 years but that’s a lot of needles.

This insanity that the vaccinated somehow are protecting society or other has to end... its flat out wrong.
The ONLY thing the vaccines do is lessen YOUR chance of dying form COVID 19 if you get it, that’s it....
