I’m so stressed and tired from all this covid mess. I never worried much about catching anything before, but now I’m older, had cancer and lymph nodes removed, and to top it off, can’t even count on the medical profession to care for you if you do get sick. Enough already! And enough of Fauci and Biden politicization and profiteering of it.

Well, it is not that simple. If this man truly had a sat of 79% he would be failing quickly, he would need a vent. But poor circulation to the extremities can give a false reading. Now if he had an ABG drawn you could more accurately tell, they run those pretty quickly. It is drawn from an artery, usually radial. Now a ABG (arterial blood gas) will tell you ahead of time what direction the patient is going. It is better to ventilate patient ahead of time then to wait until the "crash", begin struggling with their breathing then pass out.
As far as the hospitals not giving meds that are shown helpful, kind of tells you how much control the bad folks have over the MD's doesn't it.
