I don’t remember that. I don’t think. I remember some people getting sick/dying over lettuce, and of course there was Jack in the Box.
I admit I wasn’t one to watch the nightly news or read the newspaper, though. Gosh, imagine going back in time to only 3 tv stations (4 if you counted PBS)!
at Fiesta Texas! He and some other LT stars put on a show and afterwards I stood in line with the other kids for a picture.
Saw Bugs Bunny afterwards outside. My granddaughter and I had a picture taken with him. I could smell booze on him and then he had the nerve to fondle my rear! I just discreetly swatted him as I didn’t want to have to explain to my granddaughter why grandma beat up Bugs Bunny. Believe me if it had been her he did that to I would have.
So we were just sitting on the bench and Bugs got into some confrontation with some other people and security had to take him away. My GD asked why and I just told her I didn’t know.
Years later when she was old enough to tell, we saw that picture of us and I to,d her the story.

A co worker and I both got e coli from packaged salad. That was painful. Sick for 3 days. We had both bought the brand of salad, which was recalled, but had eaten before we knew about it.

One of those things that is funny later, but not at the time. I remember Tigger was actually arrested at some other park for inappropriate behavior. Just can’t trust anyone these days! At least Foghorn was the Southern gentleman I thought he was. 🙂
