Yes, I ran it through the WW recipe calculator with the Keto version.
The ‘real’ recipe is 14 points for 1/2 cup gravy.
The ‘keto’ recipe is 5 points for 1/2 cup gravy.
The keto version has 1/4 cup heavy cream and 2 tablespoons butter. The real version has 2 cups whole milk (skim wouldn’t help a lot on points) and 3 tablespoons butter. They’re close on points, with the edge going to keto. What really hurts is the whole cup of sugar in the real version!
Sugo sounds familiar, that’s possibly want my Italian family called it.
They know how to make a protest FUN!
It’s not hard to do a SSN match as a business. Our pension unit does a quarterly audit; our auditor did one at our request earlier this year against everyone in our system.
We found over 200 people who had been deceased as far back as the 1960s!

well I’m from California and Texas and never heard of tomato gravy.
I like gravy, even more so after my mouth surgery. But to me, some things are gravy and others are sauces. I guess if it’s good and you like it, who cares what it’s called?

I love the milk gravy for chicken fried steak. I hardly make at home anymore, but I like it when the fat and fallen off breading is in the gravy. It’s so good you can even use water if you don’t have milk. In fact I like liver and gravy cooked like that with lots of onions.
For roasts, my made up recipe is real beef broth, French onion soup and Worcester sauce. Be sure the broth isn’t all watered down and salty. Can also thicken with corn starch instead of flour as it doesn’t lump. ( mix with cold water).
I’m posting late as I was out but heard it’s her.
I used to eat without the gravy or with hot sauce, but now it’s easier to eat with gravy.
I love liver! I hated beets as a kid and still do. Didn’t like eggplant the way my mom cooked it, but like it now in some dishes. Don’t care for fresh water fish but love seafood!
If my kids didn’t want to eat what I cooked, I made them eat one bite, then they could have a peanut butter sandwich if they still didn’t like it.
My sister had diabetes, had a hard time sticking to a diet. When I lived close to her every week I bought her sugarless candy and stuff she liked. She ate it so I guess it helped.
That is great news, thanks!
I did it whenever we hired someone.

People are asking if there will be redactions in the Arizona Audit Report. Answer: Yes there will be some redactions. Redactions are only of voter-specific personal information nuggets on ballot examples used in the final report. The judge was very strict in ordering masking of voters’ personal information (name, home address, etc) months ago.
Yup, although I never thought about the distinction between gravy and sauce as one has meat and the other doesn’t!
Red-eye gravy doesn’t have meat, unless some of the ham stuck to the skillet and you scraped it up. Same for milk gravy; might have some crusties in it but that’s it.
Only time it matters what you call something is outside the South and you ask for a Coke. I even had someone try to give me Dr. Pepper!! 😳
Lol, in some places if you ask for Dr. Pepper they ask where you’re from! My son came to visit in California, went to SF, he ordered tea, and they brought him hot tea, lol. I explained to him he had to ask for iced tea.
I don’t drink hot tea, only iced. Once my daughter and I stopped into a Korean joint, and I asked for iced green tea. After two crazy attempts, my daughter went behind the counter and showed the guy how to make iced tea. It could have made a good comedy skit.
To me, gravy doesn’t have to have meat, but is better when served with it.
Funny how things are so different. I notice some people on this thread call a burrito a wrap.
