They must be thinking on The 25th.
Sometimes you hear something uncertan only once. Not again..
It sticks, and becomes true. eventually.
They want Susan Rice.
(After all, they probably can’t run Valerie Jarrett, who ran and likely still runs the comms to all of them.)

I’m using the Zelenko with Quercetin etc. But I’ll add IVM paste, if I get exposed. Still hoping to get an IVM Rx from a Dr.
I have an “adopted” son with a trach and I can guarantee you there are many nurses who have no clue how to care for a trach properly
I interpreted it as Pfizer is checkmated.
So, people between 60 and 65 can’t get it?
*******************************************************************************
I am not 100% sure, but I think so. However, people under 65 with co-morbidity can is my understanding. Most people have issues by age 60 which would make then eligible.
HooRay. Glad to see my home town area standing up. Thanks. I hope it does some good.
Is it just me, or isn’t it stupid to insist on a vax that is not even effective for Delta when that is the one that’s going around?
What do you call the guy at the bottom of his class after he passes the state medical exam?
Doctor.

My elderly mother who I cared for for >10 years was hospitalized last month. Asperation pneumonia.
me: “Please don’t vaccinate her.”
MD: “Well we HAVE to give her a COVID test. She has pneumonia.”
me: “It’s raspberry pie.”
The test was negative for ‘rona. They wanted to check off the box, methinks.
I can relate to that. Even some RNs who were sort of "grandfathered" LPNs back when that was done can't really find much work commensurate with their experience and ability.
Today's environment is all about credentialing, and the PTB will have their way or squish you like a bug.

Thanks. There were some very competent nurses that took care of me, but what they, and the respiratory specialists that had to be called in several times, told me is that they were sending nurses to help from other wards that had not worked with trachs. I told the doctors about it on my follow-up visit, as I wouldn’t want others to go through what I went through.
I once saw a baby, less than a year old. He had been in some sort of a fire in Central America. His mother spoke no English. He was playing in a crib. That baby had no idea that he had a trach. He was beautiful, and his trach was pristine, well cared for. He must be in his 20s, at least by now.
I have a tough time visualizing that there are so many Nurses out there who are unable to provide proper care. I have never seen such things, well almost never. I am certainly being schooled today. I wonder if something can be done.
IIRC Medicare coverage doesn’t start till 65.
What do folks between 60 and 65 do?
From the link, here are the criteria:
“Who is eligible to receive monoclonal antibody therapy?
Monoclonal antibody treatment is available to individuals who:
Are high risk** for developing severe COVID-19 and
Have a positive COVID-19 test and have not yet been admitted to the hospital and
Are 12 years of age or older (and at least 88 pounds)
Post-exposure preventive monoclonal antibodies are available to those who have been exposed (consistent with the CDC’s close contact criteria)* and who are:
High risk** for developing severe COVID-19 and
12 years of age or older (and at least 88 pounds) and
Not fully vaccinated or vaccinated but immunocompromised
*In some cases, direct exposure isn’t a criterion. If you meet the criteria above and are at high risk of exposure to an individual infected because of an occurrence of infection in other individuals in the same institutional setting (for example, nursing homes or prisons), you are eligible for post-exposure preventive monoclonal antibodies.
It is important to understand that post-exposure preventive monoclonal antibodies are not a replacement for vaccination. We highly encourage everyone to get a COVID-19 vaccine.
**High risk includes any of the following:
65 years of age or older
Overweight (body mass index over 25)
Pregnancy
Chronic kidney disease
Diabetes (Type 1 and Type 2)
Weakened immune system
Currently receiving immunosuppressive treatment
Cardiovascular disease/hypertension
Chronic lung disease
Sickle cell disease
Neurodevelopmental disorders
Medical-related technological dependence
“
What is coof? Don’t ask the urban dictionary.
