“Yet somehow today, despite having 5,000 troops on the ground from the Marines and 82nd Airborne – that is, fully-armed combat infantry – our military is besieged inside a three-square-mile perimeter at Kabul airport surrounded by Taliban...”
Maybe because whoever is in charge at the White House told Smiley Milley to stand down and that is what he ordered the troops to do so we don’t offend any of the Taliban.
Sounds to me like the real plan is to get as many fighting age Afghan males brought over to the US as they can in a hurry. You would think that muzzies are pulling the puppet strings of this govt. you know, like Valjar and OBeelzebub.
Afghanistan is being handled intentionally badly. Someone is up to something. I don’t know if they are distracting us from the audits, or sneaking someone or something through our southern border, or what it might be. But we can project force into Kabul and get our people out. We can do that. But we have decided that we have no interest in doing so at the moment. Why?
FUBAR
Look at Biden’s Rules of Engagement.
Obama’s Rules of Engagement in 2008 so shackled the military that the suicide rate of active duty military doubled instantly.
Kind of like the Capitol Police!!!
“”What the heck is going on with our military in Kabul?””
Don’t ask. Don’t tell
Whoever (China, Obama) has the insidious Biden (and others) videos is calling the shots to sow dissension and ultimately destroy the U.S.
One word....
obama
Gee, remember all those former generals who signed that letter condemning Trump? Wonder what they have to say now about their guy? Someone should look a few of them up and interview them.
I watched the interview of journalist Laura Logan on Fox Nation with Tucker Carlson. She explains how the government wants this Afghanistan abandonment to happen just as being done.

Shock video: Lara Logan confirms what we feared about Afghanistan
By Andrea Widburg
Biden’s pullout from Afghanistan has been the worst managed event in American history. With Saigon as an example, the administration knew exactly how bad it would be. There’s a lot of finger-pointing going on now, but, at bottom, people are wondering if the unconditional Taliban takeover, including the trapped Americans, is a deliberate policy. On Tucker Carlson’s Wednesday show, Lara Logan said, “Yes, it is. This was what the government wanted.”
A little background: We’ve been in Afghanistan for 20 years now, ostensibly to “nation-build,” à la Germany and Japan. Back then, though, we completely defeated them and installed ourselves in power, only slowly releasing power if they’d fully embraced Western democratic values. And we still stayed for over 70 years, keeping an eye on things.
We never flattened Afghanistan. Instead, we imposed ourselves on top of a medieval Islamic country, including the whole LGBT madness. It worked for those already geared to Western values and those looking to take American money. The Afghan military, many members of which were brave fighters, clearly would never be ready to lose their training wheels — with our military being the training wheels. Some of you may remember this video, which embodies problems of both culture and competency..
It looks like they were relying on Turkey to provide security and mechanics to the airport in Kabul and now, lo and behold, you have the 10th Mountain Division providing airport security.
The military is blunt instrument. Biden, Obama, and Neo-cons do not get that. They think the military is something that they can dust off when needed to do any job and too many jobs that are not a military function. In their arrogance, they think a military function is anything they say it is.
These people are with out real world experience. They never ran a business. Most never had jobs outside of government. They certainly haven't built anything from the ground up.
Do not blame the troops on the ground. Most found out they were going Thursday night, a week ago. That was their preparation. Blame Biden. Blame woke generals that did not push back. Blame the IC. Blame DOS. Have we heard any protests from these people in the last several months? No. They either went along to get along or they were blind-sided by Biden at the last minute with mission that no one prepared.
BTW, post 2 needs to go. Those guys are out there in a war zone and don't need that sort of crap. IMHO.
5000 troops vs an entire city where even if the individual person is not an enemy it’s very important to their survival to not appear to be an ally. That’s what happens when you lose control. If we send people out there now they will die. Period, we’re not in charge anymore. The Taliban are. Unless we’re willing to put in like a quarter million troops to actually take back the city it’s a no go.
We are supposed to believe the Secretary of Defense, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, and everyone else in military and civilian leadership are unable to read about how to do non-combatant evacuation as described in U.S. Joint Publication JP3-68 “Noncombatant Evacuation Operations,” which is downloadable from the public website along with its own multimedia training presentation.
I told my wife this yesterday. I spent 4 of my uniformed years teaching wartime contingency planning and personally covered this subject with thousands of students.
The only explanation is that someone at the highest levels won't let the military do what in knows how to do.
When a commie CIC purges the leadership and replaces it with woke desk jockeys who hate the military and America, this is what you have.
While in office, the magic negro got rid of a great many high ranking military officers and replaced them with ass kissing woke punks.
Yeh, my thoughts exactly. Plus why have we not seen even one report of the estimated numbers of Taliban fighters in Kabul? Looking at the numerous videos you never see more than 3-4 sitting in a pickup. Or standing on the street. Kabul is a huge city of 4 million people.
How many Taliban are actually even there? Its bizarre that nobody seems to know but they are certain the Taliban have a stranglehold on the airport. There is something not right about this whole mess.
