They need to get out more into the rural area if they really want to see women in trucks. I got my license to drive a semi in the 80’s. I’m also an OSHA licensed forklift driver. I can pull a 23’ flatbed 3-axle trailer with a ton truck and drive a tractor and put up hay.

I let the Semi license go but I’m still licensed to drive a forklift. We still have a tractor but turned the farming over to the kids. We’re retired now. :-)

Rural Kansas is pretty much from my county line to the Colorado border (except for a Lawrence KS!)

Ford F150 or a Mercedes? One thing that keeps people from driving trucks is the cost. If you are going to buy a truck its a tool and a deduction on your 1040 Sch C or F.

We were just talking about women semi drivers this morning and how many there seem to be lately. We were doing some work in the garage the last month and rented a cube from uhaul to store our junk. It was the first time I’ve ever seen a woman forklift driver . Although I guess most work in wearhouses?
