We were just talking about women semi drivers this morning and how many there seem to be lately. We were doing some work in the garage the last month and rented a cube from uhaul to store our junk. It was the first time I’ve ever seen a woman forklift driver . Although I guess most work in wearhouses?
I drove one in a factory but my sister drives one now in a warehouse loading trucks. Before i went into supervision i was a material handler and was on one 10 to 12 hours a day. I wish i had kept doing that instead of going into supervision my last two years. It was a big promotion though with a lot more money. I got a degree in management and since the company paid for it i felt obligated to make use of it. I still got to drive the forklift though.
