Well, the virus is pretty smart according to the selected Cabal Governors such as the one in Hawaii. Just this week a new mandate came down from on high that permits only 10 people to attend a public gathering indoors in Hawaii. The virus is smart enough to know that when there are 10 or less people in a public indoor gathering in Hawaii it has to go somewhere else.

I didn’t have to use crutches but I did wear the boot. I still use the cane when it’s hurting or I did too much and I still have to wear the boot if it’s really bad. It’s been 2 1/2 years since I fell on it. The Ortho Specialist and PT both said it will take a very long time. If I walk in the yard, walk in town where I walk far or I have to go on and off of curbs they want me to wear the laceup brace and carry the cane.

I am SO ready to get my life back. I am able to push my little lawn mower but to do that I have to wear high top lace up leather boots with the laceup brace or I have to wear the big CAM boot. High top leather boots and shorts looks ridiculous when it’s 100 degrees outside but I don’t have neighbors so not many laugh at me.

Robin Cook wrote a book called “ Cell” in 2014 about implantable medication delivery systems which can be used to depopulate those that would cost the system too much in care. 7 years ago the idea was out there. The creeps like Gates would love to use it on those they consider expendable?

Okay, you guys, I just got out my old cane to try this, and I can’t see how the above makes the best sense physically when I actually start walking. The mechanics are clumsier and more labored. Having the cane and the injured leg farther away from one another makes balance more precarious, and progress more gingerly and cautious. Holding the cane on the same side, I can move the healthy leg forward, then the injured leg and cane combo forward, etc. - having a rhythm and speed much like a normal gait, rather than a series of slow and hesitant steps.

So I’d do it the same way I did again, in a heartbeat! Let’s just say I’m glad that nobody told me I was ‘doing it wrong’ after I had my injury, or I wouldn’t have been as coordinated or gotten around nearly as quickly and painlessly as I did... To each his/her own, I guess!

I would do it however works best for you. When I’m walking on level ground but using the cane I hold it in my left hand since my injury is my right foot/ankle. It balances me. If I’m walking on a slope where my hurt foot is downhill I hold the cane on that side to keep me from rolling that foot down the hill.

Don’t worry about rules. Do what keeps you from getting hurt.
